Nice and affordable place to stay in Moshi. They offer bread and breakfast (buffet). The place is right in the city centre . Their rates are very affordable and staff are very competent. The rooms are clean and new towels provided every morning. Very easy to access entertainment options.

Stayed here for 2 nights on either end of a Kilimanjaro trek. For a hotel in Moshi, it wasnt too bad, but there were a number of issues. The staff was usually friendly and we felt safe in the hotel. Our room was relatively clean, but had to change rooms one night because a bunch of ants basically covered our floor. The man at the front desk seemed frustrated that we were asking to change rooms, and just tried to spray ant killer all over our room and told us they wont hurt us. Bathroom had a mildewy smell and had no hot water 3/4 of the times we tried to shower. Beds were pretty comfortable, and they brought an extra twin bed into our room given that two of us were staying there. TV in our first room did not work and was not near an outlet to plug into. Wifi is very hit-or-miss. Works best in the lobby, and is basically useless in the rooms. However, they didnt promise wifi throughout the property, so I cant fault the bad reception upstairs. Breakfast is included but not great, however the restaurant staff is very friendly and accommodating. We ate one dinner in the actual restaurant, and while the food was average, they seemed to have cooked everything from scratch. Good food prices too for a hotel (coming from a tourist). Upstairs bar was closed during our entire stay, which was disappointing. The location is pretty good. Walking distance to shops and the market, and to more touristy restaurants. Overall, the Selig Hotel did its job as a place to sleep, but was not outstanding at all.

Quite expensive compared to other hotels in the area. Laundry was ridiculously expensive. During one meal the kitchen didnt have any of the appetizers available nor any fish/seafood. This meant the menu only contained 2-3 chicken dishes and 3 beef dishes. Staff is very friendly though and the rooms are nice. Not enough hot water for two showers.

Excellent stay, except WIFI is a bit slow in our room, probably due to its position. Otherwise, a good hotel, with good position

Has roof top bar and good service from drinks to menu (meals) which are prepared by order.

So far 3 star on meals and reception services || waiting to experience accommodation this weekend then will be able to add more stars hopefully....

Is the place that i can stay because they have good services, heavy breakfast, hygienic works and smart one. They also have a good security of customers property and clean room and other areas around their hotel.

Not every one needs an AC to breath. Improve ventilation so customers can access fresh air without using AC.

The rooms are very tiny and the price is just too much for it. The TV does not work. The size of the beds are tiny too.
