Tarangire Natiknal Park, the Paradise of Elephants! It is a nice place to visit for leisure and learning. Beautiful animals, trees, and birds! Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, Vouchers, Leopards, Lions, Zebra, Ngiri, etc

Nice park. I was hoping to see more animals, but it was overall a nice experience visiting.

Tarangire National Park is wonderful. If you get the chance I highly recommend the walking safari with an armed ranger that leaves from this entrance. It was an amazing experience to just be out with the animals. Our walk was almost 2.5hours. We were able to experience a herd of elephants pass by. Our ranger was very cautious when we saw them but fortunately we were downwind. Dress appropriately...hard soled shoes, long pants, bug spray. All of these photos were from the walking safari.

Its a good park to visit. Unfortunately for us, we visited the Serengeti first so Tarangire felt like a couple steps down.We did see a couple large elephant families. That was pretty cool.Maybe to enjoy it more visit this park first before going to the Serengeti.

Lovely place, we saw a leopard, lions, zebras, antelopes... but dont forget to take insect repellent with u as it is full of tsi tsi flies

The park is beautiful and has great diversity with amazing wildlife viewing. There are elephants, giraffes, impalas, Zebras, variety of birds, baboons, to mention a few. Also there are many baobab trees. For a quick visits while in Arusha, Tanzania do not miss a visit at the Tarangire National park.

Great views and a great guide, a nice short drive around some excellent sites. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something to do on a quiet day in Arusha.

This national park is super amazingHome of elephantsLions zebra and antelopesIt is very green and the roads without a park are very nice and it is not easy to get lost as there is a lot of directions.

Went to see giraffes, saw them and then a while lot more.

It has clean toilet. Very very nice. And there are mischievous monkeys. cute.

Has a huge Baobab tree near the entry, tourist needs to take permits from here to enter the park, place has small coffee/food shop, souvenir shop and a restrooms.Tarengire is best for Bird watchers, also its known for its elephant population, baobab trees and yellow-colored lovebirds

Vest National Park visits during drought, vegetation and many species of mammals are found within and around the park, the tarangire river which is a major source of water in the park that makes many mammals seen on river banks during the dry season . I like that place...

Here at the gate you need to deal with the permission for entrance at the park guard office. Free wifi, shopes, cafe and toilets are available.

Very quick, cca 20min wait to enter, unlike Ngorongoro where we had to spend over an hour and a half waiting

We had to wait only five minutes to enter into park. After this waiting we enjoyed every minute in the park!
