Location, facilities, meals and staff were even above our expectations. Unspoiled nature and scenery resembling having a live experience within a postcard of your ideal exotic place...Daily boat excursions to the sandbanks are an exeprience of paradise on earth. Dont go to Zanzibar if you dont visit this place,I invite people to visit it is extra wonderful.

Nice place, friendly staff, abundant menus, air conditioning in the bungalows, the view from the terrace is wonderful. Located in a wonderful place in Africa, it is a must visit.

Nice location near the sea, we appreciated all the efforts and helpfulness of the staff. Good cuisine with good service but few dishes. The place is very quiet and a little spartan. Italian propertyThe beach can be reached with a path of about three hundred meters, but it is not suitable for swimming as it only acts as a marina. The resort, however, accompanies you every day at some beautiful bay beaches in the surrounding area; or organize (for a fee) excursions to nearby islands.

We stayed at the Emerald the second week of June. Raffaele (one of the owners) was precise and careful in helping us get to their destination smoothly and late. The Emerald is a structure perfectly integrated into the territory and the people who work there are real Tanzanians to discover. Mohammed: the Emerald sage who offered us all after dinner teaching us to play bao and much more. Nassib: impeccable driving both by sea and by land. Irene: for us always a sweet smile and impeccable attention to both lunch and dinner. Exciting encounters with the locals who live next to the Emerald facility .... if you pass by those parts dont forget clothes, papers and pens for them. Above all, children will be delighted. Thank you all for the wonderful experience.

Too bad for the always dirty pool and for the impossibility of choosing the menu. Too expensive compared to what it offers, also considering the absence of air conditioning ..
