Thanks to Garry and the staff for some great snorkling experience. We had a good time and our feedback was taken very seriously. Looking forward to further trips and dives

Firstly, this could have easily been a 5 star review as all the guides and one ocean staff were fantastic! However just a few things put a slight dampener on the experience. It is a long day and in total you only do around an hour of snorkelling. A lot of the day is spent travelling, however this is also good as you get to explore the island and the ocean. However the boat had a large group on it with both snorkelling and diving taking place and therefore a lot of time is spent waiting for the other groups to come back. This is not something we were told about at purchase of our trip as we had booked on a snorkelling trip.We also had to transfer boats quite a lot. I appreciate this has to be done in order to get to shallower waters, however again we were not forewarned about this and it was quite embarrassing at times getting back into the boat from the water. Nevertheless the guides were great and made us feel at ease and did everything they could to help.The snorkelling is fantastic, the island is beautiful and the staff were wonderful. I just hope that One Ocean take my points on board and perhaps undertake a sole snorkelling trip rather than what felt like ‘a diving trip with snorkelling tagged on’

What an experience!!I came as a solo diver, I got assigned a great Polish buddy - another solo diver and a dive master Chatti (probably mis-spelled, my apologies).A 20mins boat ride on a lovely wooden carved boat got us to a beautiful dive site called “Small Wall” where we got down to 33m and saw some colourful ocean life. Got back on the boat after 40mins and were served a delicious snack of local fruits and traditional snacks - all vegetarian, some vegan. (Im a vegan - was happily fed). Back to the water with new tanks, and experienced an excellent 50min dive at “The Aquarium” which gave us what it promised in the title. Hundreds and thousands of fish and corals covering the whole spectrum of colours and shapes. All equipment was safe to use and dive master was very acknowledged and great fun to dive with!Can’t wait to go again!!Thank you!

My wife and I did four dives with the One Ocean team in January 2020. Its clear from the setup that safety is a priority, we felt comfortable throughout.The dive guides were very knowledgeable and found a wealth of marine life including mantis shrimp, crocodile fish, leaf fish, octopi and nudibranchs. Visibility was great and on two occasions we came up to see a pod of dolphins passing by.The team were all very friendly and positive, which made us want to go back again and again.

It was above dive center. Very competent dive masters showing us the beauty of Mnemba Island reef. The speedboat was also very convenient. Though we were three group of divers so we had to wait for quite some time to be picked up at the end of both dives.

Totally dissapointed with this diving tour operator. We pay 45S for snorkelling and we employ more than 6 hours due to delays. We share the boat with divers and we Lost many time. I would not recomend this site if you are thinking on snorkelling in zanzibar

It is very professionally managed. The whole staff is great and professional. The equipment is perfect and instructors knows the great spots. Divings were nice: lot of fish and corals.

Really worth. You do not have to swim well to snorkel with everyone. Osman will do everything so that you, like the rest, will take advantage of the opportunity to admire the reef. Dress you up in a life jacket, give you a wheel so you can hold on, and by holding your hand with your finger will show the inhabitants of the reef. All employees extremely nice and helpful. Cool. Very nice diving school with very nice and helpful people.Diving in a relaxed atmosphere.Unfortunately two dives with around $ 120 quite expensive. However, this is the usual island tariff.When snorkeling you also have your own guide who shows fish.

Beautiful snorkeling and diving trips to Mnemba Island by speedboat, professional guidance by a guide for a maximum of 4 people, crystal clear water and a variety of colorful fish.

We snorkel with them and very well, the majo guide and very attentive. And of the cheapest, we hire it with the hotel.
