Had lunch today and I had the sea food mix. It was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend anyone to this friendly spot. The food is amazing and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. To the chef Moses or was it Moosa. 🙈, your food was 10/10 bro. The food might look like its not enough but trust me I was filling, more than enough.The owner was so friendly and welcoming. This is a must visit if you are in the area. The food was simply amazing- we had the seafood special. A basket of bread and guacamole, followed by a huge plate of tuna capaccio. The main dish was a monster platter of lobster (2types), crab, octopus, calamari, large prawns, rice , chips and all washed down with a bottle of wine and water. We barely had room for the fruit salad dessert that followed! All that for 30 dollars a head. Compared to what we received in our all inclusive hotel, we wished we had found it earlier and would have eaten here every night.The venue is rustic and charming. The staff, helpful and welcoming. Above all it is all pulled together by Henry, a local Tanzanian, who learned his trade in Italy. He couldnt have been any more welcoming.Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The price/quality seems be good, we went there twice for lunch. The chicken mango salad was really good the first time, the second time the mango was not that sweet. Good banana avocado milkshake. Nice view & kind staff.

Food is good, but make sure you check your bill! They blatantly charged us more for both of our dishes and told us our credit card didnt go through, we paid cash, came home and realized they also charged our credit card. Too bad, because we really liked the food and location, but I draw the line at being blatantly swindled.

Order their signature cocktails. The ones not on the menu. Youre in for a good surprise

Is a nice place, but nothing special. A little bit overpriced and the bathrooms are not really clean. The octopus was fresh and soft. Thank you!

One can enjoy the ambience/view with food and drinks and good music. Fairly priced menu and food was delicious (pesto pasta vegetarian and grilled chicken is what we had with 4 beer and paid $33 which we felt was decent), service was good too. Every Saturday they have a Saturday night party with entry fee $5 and a free drink. They are open from 10 am to 1am.

We were at dinner tonight,3 tables were occupied, and we waited for food for 45 minutes. When the food finally arrived it was nicely served but it was totally cold! But we tasted the food really was not good, cold and the taste was bad.Worst in years!

Amazing location on the water, and prices are fair. But the menu is kinda dull and the staff are not so professional. Every day between 15:00 and 17:00 they have a happy hour with better pricing for drinks, but the menu doesnt say that and if you dont ask for it nobody informs you about it, and even the bill lists the regular prices until we mentioned it. Usually they dont have change in the currency you pay ( we had a problem paying with USD, and a table before us had a problem with Euros). Its a good place for a drink right on the oceans water.

Excellent food! Beautiful views especially as the water came in for high tide at around 3pm. Staff were very friendly and professionally. Catch of the day was a great price and so tasty. Lovely fresh juice and blended drinks as well.

I was there 3 days ago and needed to write this review before I forget. Literally the best Pina coladas I have EVER had (not just in Zanzibar).I enjoyed a relaxed lunch there with a mixed grill - honestly the best food and drink in Kiwengwa, and best Pina coladas in the world (Im comparing with Dubai, London and all the other places I frequent.)The 2 gentlemen bartenders were amazing!

Fainai is a place to get to from the beach. There are almost no people during the day, so the waiters are happy to see a new visitor. I was very surprised when I asked for water with my espresso coffee. ”I asked if there was a selection of hot or cold drinks at the bar.

Fantastico! Abbiamo passato delle bellissime serate al pontile durante la nostra vacanza a Zanzibar. Great restaurant.We were in the evening, so the ocean view was missed.We bought a set with seafood, served also a bottle of wine, which was a pleasant surprise.The feed is relatively fast, which is rare in Zanzibar.I put three stars for placing the flags of Russia and Ukraine next to each other. I will gladly change it to 5 stars when the owners hear my request and outweigh the Russian flag.

In an exceptional setting, a private restaurant in an elegant setting, with excellent food and a lot of cordiality and kindness.

The view is superb. But the prices are high. In fact we pay for the view. Because very little chicken and only 5 small prawns.

The setting is wonderful, we are practically above the sea. A very warm welcome. The service is pleasant. The meal is nonetheless very good.

A good place to rest and cool down. You can watch the fish. Disco on Saturdays.

The place is beautiful! The food is very decent. It should be borne in mind that there is a problem with food in Zanzibar: they cook badly, the local cuisine is extremely disgusting. We spent two weeks looking for a place to eat and found. For several days we tried 5 dishes. We definitely recommend fish of the day. We tried it a couple of times, the first was dorado, the second was tuna. Dorado was amazing! And take vegetables for a side dish - they are fried over a high heat and the cook has some know-how about this side dish. In general, I was struck by the gustatory explosion. Do not take ugari (local dish) .... not only here, do not take at all, if you are not an ardent fan of corn flour.
