We had an amazing stay at the Mbuyuni Farm Retreat on the Kimango Farm. The safari style cottages are very well maintained, spacious and comfortable. The oasis like swimming pool was just a walk away from the private cottages. The meals were well prepared and very delicious.The Retreat is also a wildlife haven with many mammal, bird and reptile species that can be sighted and observed on the nature walks. We saw many bushbucks and were lucky enough to see waterbuck as well. Many animals tend to move around in the night, so feel free to ask and organize a night game drive with management.I would highly recommend the Mbuyuni Farm Retreat to any residents looking for a relaxing escape from the city, as well as tourists travelling past Morogoro heading to Mikumi, Udzungwa and Ruaha National Parks.

Have stayed here more than four times. It is idyllic and so calming. We have been to Yoga retreats which were amazing!! Simone is the perfect host thinking of every detail to make your stay memorable. Amazing cottages and the food is amazing! Would recommend it for sure.

Simone was an incredibly gracious host to us during our brief stay at Kimango Farm. She picked us up from Kingolwira after our bus was delayed and gave us helpful advice for continuing our journey. The cottage was beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, and we woke up to the song of many birds and a wonderful view of the Uluguru Mountains. The food was the best we had on our two-week trip to Tanzania. Kimango Farm is a special place that I thoroughly recommend to all who are traveling to Morogoro. Thank you, Simone!

A great get away. Not much to do here but the trails are nice and pool is cool. Well maintained cottages.
