I discovered this restaurant a bit too late into my 5 day stay in the area so I only got to visit twice.They are so friendly and you sit with the most wonderful view of the Indian Ocean. Goats and ducks stroll past on the beach!And as for the food it is amazing. The first time I had a grilled fish which tasted great, but what was out of this world was the octopus in coconut curry. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The octopus was so soft, and the sauce was really delicious. I wish I could eat it every day!!

Totally recommend. Local food cooked at the restaurant of the village. Very good food (especially seafood) and decent prices.

The best food we’ve had in Zanzibar! Very friendly people and the grilled fish with rice and veg was so delicious. Nice selection of local beers and a nice terrace to sit on. Food takes a while to be prepared but it’s lovely to sit and watch the ocean while you wait.

New restaurant, the kitchen was about to close the chef re-open when he was alone for us.Very kind and good food too

So nice people and fresh sea BBQ. Highly recommended
