Mnemba beach is beautiful place from where you can hire a boat for just 25$ to see dolphins in their natural habitats, professional swimmers can swim along with dolphins and to sand bank which is so beautiful with amazingly soft white sand. I was like lost by seeing such and beautiful natural view. And it is one of the best place for snorkeling, you will be able to see plenty of fishes and beach corals.
We rented the masks for snorkeling here, also a boat(30$ for two). The beach is nice. But there is nothing to see under the water. The coral is dying. This is sad. Mnemba is beautiful, but you can’t land there until you book a hotel there)I wouldn’t recommend snorkeling here.
Very nice place it’s a must visit placeJust careful with the charges locals can use the advantage and rip you off
I really had FUN!Mnemba Island is absolutely beautiful and the experience in water/swimming is phenomenal 😍
*Youll get to see the Dolphins - 95% chances between 8:30-9:30 AM* - I was so magical! While the beach itself is beautiful with amazingly soft white sand, you can hire a boat from the beach to go near Mnemba Island where you can see lots and lots of dolphins in their natural habitat. It costed us 50K Tanzanian Shillings but I think the experience was worth way more. Please note that this place is quite far from and its better if you have your own transport or if you get a car, they will charge you somewhere around 30-60K to go back to the main city. The island is a private island and have a park which needs to be pre-booked if you want to stop there. Getting to watch the dolphins was the best part of my Zanzibar Trip. Just make sure the weather is nice and the water is calm (dont go on the stormy days). Also a great spot for snorkeling and swimming with the dolphins!
Amazing place, beautiful beach and port
It is always great best tours campany
This is best place that provides direct acess to Mnemba Island. Always there is High Tides at this area. If your looking to go to do a Dolphins tour or Snockling at Mnemba Island reef please dont just go straight at this area and looking for a boat, most of the boats around this area are already booked and if you can find one can sometimes do it not in the right way.Dont look for a cheap options when you do tours, look for a registered company that can operate it and if any thing goes bad, they can do something.
Boats to Mnemba Atoll leave from this point. It takes about 15 min to get there. I was charged $25 pp, but if you are in a larger group you can exercise your negotiating skills. It is a good option if you have your own snorkeling gear and if you hired a car. The road is not paved, and Google may send you through some terrible paths, so be careful.
It was an interesting day out as we got caught in a storm so be careful of the weather. To Coral is ok saw some nice fish but the current was quite stong on the day we went.
Always transport available as I visited the locations three times. But also muyuni is from kijini village which has a great historical background and big old caves best for tourists and geographical learning site.
Thats where you get a boat to Mnemba Island, the most exciting island that you dont have to miss visiting in Zanzibar.. the place offered a beautiful beach with whitest sand..blue water with nice wind blowing to take your mind away..Sit down watch to and from Mnemba is exciting..Watching fishermen coming from fishing with different varieties of fish🐟 say it star fish or whatever..Let it be a simple birthday party celebration..Grab a bike from ur hotel..come riding. Seven km from Pwani Mchangani. Visit my page to see a road I am constructing for you guys

This place is easy way to go to mnemba island
We were with our guide, so no problem - hakuna matata. A bit dirty on the shore

Fron here they take you to mnemba island for snorkling and spot, swim with dolphins.... the best!
If you travel around the main island by car, at the transfer point you will find dozens of boats that will take you to Mnemba for half or even less than the price offered in hotels or travel agencies. Likewise, the option is not so exclusive, but enough to enjoy a spectacular snorkeling!Parking is safe and will cost you 1,000 TZS.
To do absolutely when coming to visit zanzibar the snoreklin zt especially the dolphins that we have been able to see on several occasions. Exceptional experience.
This is the starting point to go PMT around Mnemba Island. We paid 70,000 TZC (approx. 26 €, after negotiation) for two in a private boat. To get the best prices, it is better to arrive after the departure of the boats, only boats without tourists remain on the beach. The excursion includes PMT around Mnemba, a stop on the sandbank and see the dolphins off the coast. If you want to put a little more into your excursion it is possible to eat fruits or seafood platters. It is an (ultra) touristy place. Dont wait for an intimate experience. There were at least 50 boats on the same spot. There are loads of reef fish, and the activity is perfect for beginners. No need to dive. You can stay there as long as you want.
Beautiful beach, wonderful powdery sand.
This is where boats leave for Mnemba Island. The water is crystal clear, no algae. There is no snorkeling near the shore. There is excellent snorkeling near the island (not the Red Sea, of course). The boat can be bargained for $ 30 (there were 4 of us), they dont go any lower. Dolphins have not been seen. A tour from the hotel can be bargained for $ 25 per person.
The beach itself is a pathetic sight, because it is full of rubbish and rubbish. But as a transfer point, its a good transfer point. Easy to find the pilot and the boat.
Attention, the prices are often set very high.
A jumping off point for the installment dive and snorkel boats near Mnewbe Island, still under construction.
Very dirty beach, no toilet
A place with a beautiful beach and a wonderful coral reef where life is best admired on the reef during low tide. Near the reef, in a little deeper waters, you can meet dolphins and try to swim with them, but it is not easy because when we approach dolphins sink to a considerable depth. Thanks to the fins I was able to catch dolphins over a distance of two meters and this is just an experience! I recommend everyone try it!
The perfect place to get on a boat and then snorkel and swim from dolphins. Splendor
Lovely place. Its best to go with a local guide
From here you go by boat to see dolphins. I do not recommend doing it because of the dolphins.
Enchanting place, only after having traveled a road adventurous and dusty to say the least you will find a paradise of white sand, a turquoise sea and a view of the island of Pnemba fabulous, few services but compensated by such beauty.
A fabulous place where you can also snorkel and admire what hides the ocean surface,White sand and beautiful colors frame this wonderful place !!
Were diving on the reef, liked it, but in Egypt diving is better
Abby is absolutely exceptional. We really appreciated his service. We had a wonderful day thanks to him. I highly recommend it
Starting point for swimming with dolphins. You can take the mask and fins on the shore.
Visit Mnemba but do not exceed the limits and set your foot on the sand of Bill Gate Island with a hotel at 1700 € per night: it costs 20 $ per person! !!!!
Great place, lots of dolphins, beautiful water !!!
One of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar. Because it is isolated, few people visit it. Ideal place to experience the true beauty of this tropical island.
Not terrible boats
Pristine beaches ..... wild nature. ..... Far from tourist places ..... crystal clear sea fine sand. Very beautifull
