Really good food here, better than most places weve eaten in Zanzibar (not even close actually). I highly recommend it.The location is SUPERB!

Food is excellent. Portion is huge. The seafood pasta is not Italian pasta but the taste was on point. And the rock lobster salad is fine dining standard.

An excellent restaurant with really tasty food. The staff is friendly and helpful. Cool location with a breathtaking view. Lots of different types of food, also for people who dont like seafood. Everybody will found something for themselves. Even if you didnt like anything from the menu, you can easily communicate with a chief and have something special for you! In my point of view, this is the best option in this area. I promise you wont be disappointed!

Been on Zanzibar for 2 weeks and this is by far the best food we’ve come across. The views are great across the never-ending beach and horizon, but the food is still why you need to go here. And the great staff - suleiman took great care of us during all our visits!

We came here for lunch. The location is really nice and the staff was super friendly. The food however was underwhelming and quite expensive ($35) for one starter, one main and a bottle of water.

Really lovely place - the view is beautiful and the restaurant itself nice and cozy. The food is delicious. I can recomend marinated tuna and squids with feta from starters menu to anyone - for me great combination of local cusine with some european touch

Nice setting and correct food. Service was excellent. The restaurant belongs to one of the big resorts in the area, so its not exactly a local restaurant.

We found it much better than a restaurant in our hotel. Came almost every evening for dinner. Food and drinks are delicious and the staff is simply amazing!

Great frame! The staff are lovely. The breakfast is very rich with the night at the hotel and complete. The entries were successful, however I was a little disappointed with the very heavy chapati, and the poor quality dessert.

Very good food well worth the money. All the dishes were good, especially the seafood platter, seafood chowder and octopus. The tartare was delicious too. The priority for me at these temperatures, the beer served in this restaurant had a drinking temperature, that is, very chilled. Apparently obvious, but in local restaurants, despite the high price, it was not suitable for drinking. I did not think that while in Zanzibar and eating in several restaurants, the best seafood will be served by our compatriots from Poland. It is true that, as the chef pointed out, not only he cooks, but also the crew from Zanzibar. Greetings to everyone, I hope we will come back one day.

Nice pleasant place. Everything is delicious, even starters are a complete dish. I liked the coconut soup with seafood. The shrimps are not fresh, as elsewhere. But if you dont know, then you can swallow.

It is a spectacular site located next to the beach. Very friendly staff and delicious cuisine. A good alternative to rest from the hotel to try something different.It is not easy to get there, however it is worth it! If you move by car, my advice is to go to the fish market and leave the car there. Walking along the beach will take less than 5 minutes.

Beautiful place on a rocky promontory on Matemuwe Beach on the wonderful island of Zanzibar.It has spectacular views. The indoor dining room is only covered by the typical thatched roof and wooden logs allowing you to enjoy the surroundings. It also has an open terrace and when it is shaded in the afternoon, it is a privileged place to have a drink.The restaurant is worthy of its menu proposals. Special mention for the chicken curry and the fish of the day with coconut sauce.Good and cold typical beers like Safari and Serengeti.If you are lucky enough to be in the area, be sure to visit this place.Highly recommended 👌

Certainly one of the most beautiful beach settlements on Matemwe! Just superb in terms of decoration ... as always a warm welcome and quality cuisine. A point of view slightly enhanced in relation to the beach will allow you unforgettable views on local life like the speech of octopus by children ... awesome place!

We were probably not lucky judging by the reviews ((the food was too salty, they didn’t regret only piling up the rice, without it we certainly wouldn’t have eaten because the main dish that my husband had with Gulkin’s nose! There’s no foot here anymore! Although we live in a hotel , which is located right next to the Rock, but the cuisine and serving of dishes with our, hotel restaurant cannot be compared, and even here the prices are higher !!!

We rested for a week at Jafferji Beach Retreat, and went to eat here every day. The food is delicious. We ate octopuses in different dishes, lobster ...Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, cool ocean views, prices plus minus as elsewhere.I wish you success in your development.

Very cool place! The view is gorgeous! Both outside and inside. Its like the popular the Rock in the south of Zanzibar but cheaper. Very tasty! The owner Hussein is just awesome kind and sociable. My family and I are delighted. We will often look here, as there is still a month of rest ahead. Lobster 30k Tanzanian Shillings.
