The fish market is more of a place for locals than tourists. However, if you are in the area you can visit it. It all starts when dozens of boats arrive. The day I went to the fish market there were many people and it was around 2:00 p.m., which would correspond to the intermediate period between low and high tide. Before this time, a lot of fruit was sold in the market, mainly mango.
