Home away from home.Paulette, the owner, is awesome.Excellent food and ambiance during meals.However, its a plus to notify early enough if you are planning to have dinner at the Villa so that the team can plan accordingly.Loved it!

La Villa de Victor is the perfect accommodation to refill all of your batteries:- Paulette and Didier are very nice and helpful hosts, who give their best to make your stay unforgettable- You must try Paulette‘s food - we had dinner there two times and the quality and taste of her dishes are absolutely amazing- Breakfast is really delicious. You get fresh fruits, eggs, freshly baked bread and lots of more stuff- The rooms are clean, spacious and have a beautiful and modern interior- The common space of the villa is so beautiful with lots of decorations. One of the nicest interiors we have ever seen- The pool and the new sundeck are very inviting to enjoy the sun- The owners help to get in contact with Senga who helps to organize tours at reasonable prizes- There are some lovely pets at the villa and we loved cuddling with them - however if you don’t like pets then don’t be worried, you don’t have to be in contact with them if you don’t want to

Nice pretty place. Food was great and host were very friendly and helpful. Pool was questionable and there was not easy area to sit by pool unless you were in the ground floor rooms beside the pool. The village is very small so once you are at hotel you are stuck there for food and drink.

Super bad, unprofessional and shady experience. Dont book there. The whole area was under construction and didnt look like on the pictures at all. They did medical treatments in the (basically non existent) common area without being doctors/nurses. Also, the fact that they hold a monkey on a leash is illegal and animal cruelty! We asked them to cancel and move to another hotel. Even though they agreed and apologized we never got our money back. Do yourself a favor and book another place, there are so many in this area with way better price for value!

Beautiful place (clean, cute, spatious, delicious food) in a very quiet area where not much else is happening. But since the island is small, maybe just the perfect spot to call home and relax between trips. Mnemba island is right there and you can take locals to get you there. Felt like a sanctuary after our stay in Nungwi.

A fantastic stay at Tiny Villa de Victor! The owner is very present and lovingly takes care of details, the accommodation is very well maintained and very nicely furnished. The Tiny Villa has its own small pool and direct access to the beach, the beach is fantastic. The crew takes care of everything, be it taxi rides, boat trips to Mnemba Island or meal requests. The very good breakfast with fresh fruit and juices as well as all sorts of homemade baked goods should also be highlighted.We spent a great week here with children and recommend the Tiny Villa de Victor unreservedly.A little more information about Matamwe: Even if there are already a few hotels and bungalows in Matamwe, the place still has a very original character, a lot of life also takes place on the beach (e.g. the fish market). The tides are pronounced, at low tide you can wade to the edge of the reef and watch the villagers fishing (be sure to bring reef shoes or similar). The island of Mnemba can be reached in about 30-40 minutes by small boats, perfect for swimming, snorkeling and diving. Even if the food at Villa de Victor is very good, the owner is happy to recommend places to eat in the vicinity.

SCAM!!!!!!!They tell us to cancel ourselves because they cant (liar) he tries to steal more than 1000th from us!!! Because if we cancel we will only be reimbursed 500th!!!! They have to do it and they dont!! Scam! Dont cancel! Especially if they ask you!!! To flee !!!!

Beautiful Villa on the beach and private pool overlooking the ocean, excellent meals concocted by Paulette, a beautiful decoration, 5 star comfort, huge rooms with private terraces, excellent moments shared with Didier. A house where one feels on vacation immediately. The dream.

Good-natured, friendly owners (settled in without problems ahead of time, offered coffee, fresh juice from the road), pleasant, beautiful interior, peace and quiet around, very tasty food 👍 we recommend.
