This place was spectacular. It was my mom and I we stayed here and had them arrange our boat to gombe for the day. We stayed in the shamba house which was the perfect choice for us although was the farthest from reception. Views of congo lots to do on property. No restaurant. Zebra on property that is people friendly. And monkeys everywhere. Good for all ages. Free parking on site.
Great people and the facility is in a big land with natural vegetation, Great place for campers with both rooftop tents and ground dome tents. You can hire/tent vehicle for self drive from Gladiola Adventure ltd and drive your Tanzania road trip adventure as from Arusha to Kigoma and you can choose to pick up and drop off the vehicle anywhere you wish. In your plan please make sure you consider spending the night here when you are in Kigoma. You can leave for Gombe national park and these people can help you a lot on your tour plan on this zone.
Excellent service. Very good accommodation. The beach has unfortunately been washed away. But cozy place to relax.
Cool for relaxation quite place 👍
Really great campsite. There are 2 beaches to enjoy. Zebras roam freely in the camp. Toilets and showers are good. Staff is helpful and owners are really great people. Its a bit off of Kigoma so network doesnt work here. Youll have a full immersion in this little paradise.
A wonderful place for a days relaxation, with amazing swimming spots along the lake shore, and the water was pristine clean, clear and unpolluted. This has to rate as one of the best locations along the lake shore, as it is perfect for snorkelling. Take along a picnic and relax for the whole day.
Mr Jakobsen is very knowledgeable and super nice. We had an amazing time at the lodge swimming on our personal beach. Very clean facilities with the nicest staff. The kitchens had everything we needed.
The only place in Africa where I had a campfire and roasted hot dogs on the beach with a mix of international folks. My best memory was at night, when we went to some high platform and looked over the lake. The stars were out, and so were several dozen fishing boats, whose lights moving in the darkness looked to be moving stars as you couldnt tell the difference between the sky or the lake. Great time. I was there 8 years ago and am thinking its about time to go again.
Very helpful staff (Patrick,) who made our stay! He would arrange for transport, advise on what was possible, and answer all kind of questions. The location is out of town and right on the lakeside. Nice walks.
Great camping, right on the lake, really quiet, swimming and fishing. Helpful staff. You can order dinner in advance, gets delivered.
I have never needed their accommodations. (I hear they are nice) We as a family love their beach. Awesome!
Great place for an overnite and beach experience on lake Tanganyika. Stock in town as the place has very limited supplies and no beer or wine.
Probably the best place to stay in the Kigoma region. Quiet, secluded, in nature and a awesome swimming spot!
Incredible beach and campground. The tents allow for a homely remote comfort.
Its the most awesome place, nice beach beautiful sunset and mostly privacy
I think the lodging is quite nice. I just went to the beach which is nothing than a paradise.
We camped here in august 2015. Beautiful campsites right on the beach and lake.
Very nice clean refreshing environment with a view and a beach
Clean and quiet beach, great beach chairs, no internet reception ;)
An amazing camping place, the water is crystal clear .
Peaceful, natural, beautiful. Nice to swim and walk

NICE PLACE FOR FAMILY
Very nice place
Nice
Perfect and paradise
Great
Beautiful and cosy
Good place
Beautiful place. Rent a room for € 45 in one of the houses with kitchen and living room. Each house has two rooms. With a little luck you will have the whole house to yourself. Unfortunately there is no restaurant or i.d.You need to provide food yourself or eat in Kigoma. Mamboleo is a tip!Tuk Tuk is 5000 shillings. You have to walk the last piece vsnaf the reception. Farthest house is 15 min walk. The furthest house has no tel. Internet coverage. Wifi at reception
3 very beautiful beaches with clear water and rocks. Multicolored Pescetti. Not easily accessible but worth it. Possibility of cold drinks but no food. Ideal for half a day. There are also zebras running around. The tuc-tuc perhaps dont know the road but tell them that you have to go to the Catholic Shrine and find the signs on the street
Its a nice place ...
Very nice place. Great nature.
What a beautiful place. Clean, relaxed, well managed. I recommend
Nice close to the lake. Infrastructure rather poor.
A good place to keep your mind together is a good place from family and relax with them here
