Muzungu place. We went there to look around.Sitting at the beach during daytime... Had coffee, juice, fruitsalad for 9000.We saw only idle staff hanging around very unmotivated... Rooms without AC and overpriced.

Beach hotel, good for those who need a place to relax

One of the newly mesmerising beaches to visit in Kigoma, the services are excellent and relatively less expensive. There are rooms for those wishing to stay in, coconut trees around with a majestic view of lake Tanganyika.. The sunset is one of the memorable especially when touching those high mountains on the other side of the lake

No hot water and wait one day to get a towel. Could be a nice place if the wanted to do something other than rent out the beach for parties. Neach is 15 feet from rooms and parties blast the music so you cannt sleep or even enjoy the beach on your off day. In the morning have to avoid the beach due to trash and food thrown all over. Would never stay here again nor recommend to anyone as a place to stay. Plenty of similar priced places to stay in area.

Paradise during the day but hell at night with a very loud night club literally next door and until 5am... Just when the call to the prayer starts...

Wonderful Place with a stunning view on the lake. A beautiful Spot to swim and relax. Very Kind Service as well as a good Place to start a Gombe Park Safari.

I would not recommend this place. It used to be a nice accomdation, but since the renovations, money comes first. There are lots of similar places to stay in the area for the same price, but with a better service. When they finally agree to give you a discount price cause you stay several months (which is not an unreasonable request), they try to charge more than was agreed when receiving the invoice. Sometimes, you go weeks without water and every week, there are VERY loud parties on the beach only a few meters from the room which go on until very late at night. The management is not very considerate of the guests staying there. After a very unpleasant stay of several weeks, our friends got robbed and it was clearly an inside job of someone with both the key of the room ánd the closet which was locked. This accomdation has lost all the charm it used to have when I was there in 2015.

Aqua lodge is a uníque place. Very peaceful and pleasant. It has a prívate 100 meters beach lake tanganyika. The rooms are very nice and have a perfect terrasse overlooking the lake. It is also run by Brothers of Charity . Benefits are used for children and several communitities.I can very much recommend.

Very nice place, I had my birthday dinner last July after one month of work in the bush. Thanks to the chef, a lady who really love his work.

The room is clean and affordable, with a nice beach. 5 minute walk to Uniq bar which serves good food, and theres a grocery shop outside. Really enjoyed my 4 day stay here.Chumba kisafi na bei inafaa. Chumba kiko mbele ya beach. Iko karibu na baa Uniq ambapo pana chakula kizuri.

We stayed one night. Very nice place if you are ok to live outside. During the day, the environment is quiet. The view front of the lake with all coconut trees is amazing, especially during the sunset. During the night, you maybe can heard the music from the club but it was not our case.You can go to swim easily and come back to your private terrasse which is really nice.In contrast the rooms are a bit old and need to be better maintained or refreshed especially bathrooms.The staff is lovely and the food provided is delicious but a little bit expensive - same as the rooms. But maybe you pay the view.

Pretty place and easily accessible even on foot from Kigoma station. You can have nice baths, eat well at reasonable prices and drink cold beer. Not just stuff

It is an exceptional place .. Wonderful views, and lovely staff! Besides that, it is run by the brothers of charity who dedicate themselves body and soul to helping those most in need. In my opinion it is worth coming without any doubt !!
