The attention I received from the hospitals team were very professional by the Doctors treatments, Dr Michael and Dr George helped me to be recovered as fast as it was possible from my accident.They definitely know what to do for making you feel good and the spaces and equipment are totally clean.Just be sure to have your insurance in order and everything will be fine 😉Another great point for this hospital is that they kindly give their service and attention to local residents... 👏

I went there to get some stitches (inside the hour I was back on my way home) Jon (the doctor) and Ramadan (male nurse) are one of the most friendly people i met in whole Zanzibar.. Jon and Ramadan had to convince me to do the stitches and Im glad they did! Jon even only let me pay for the material because he knew I was there on a budget and because he wanted to make sure I left the hospital safe and sound! A big thanks to these to 2 guys!

I went to North Valley Hospital with an ear infection. The hotel reception got a taxi for me and got me there. Immediately after arriving at the small hospital I was examined and treated by a doctor and nurse. Helpful and friendly staff! They all spoke English. I payed 320 USD for antibiotics IV and medicines, which hopefully be covered by my insurance

Visit in this hospital was horrible experience ! They charge 10x more than state hospital, their therapy was not working at all. We went there 2 of us and for 2 cheap antibiotics we were charged more than 900 USD. And above all, when we paid by creditcard, it tooked in both visits more than 60 mins to get the payment through. Best service I got on the Island! Clean hospital, nice doctors, no queues. I even haven been given medications for my further recovery. Very nice contrast especially if to take in attention that our local hospitals here on ZNZ are the best to die not to cure.

Place for making money with fake diagnosis.If you have ear wax you will diagnosed by sever otitis media to increase the service with antibiotics and infusion ..And then you will pay more than 600 usd ....

Well to start with Dr. Micheal and Dr. Ahmad are one of the best drs. I ever visited in my life! They are very professional and they know what they are doing! I visited them on 5th of April for a severe back pain from a car accident and they did the needful! Today I felt much better and thanks to them! And for the patients below who were talking about the money well I can say that health comes first and after all they are not opening a charity in Zanzibar, its also a business and they have staff and nurses to take care of! So people instead of talking about money talk about there amazing service to their patients! They send me a driver to take me to the hospital and they helped me in each and every step and am so thankful! Keep it up guys and am really happy that you guys were there else I didn’t know what to do for me to handle the pain.

Great service, very carefull personell and comfortable overnight stay. At least something positive in my bacterial infection :) And yes, its quite expensive, 1,5 nights incl night emergency service, all treatments and pills costed around 1000 eur. Dont forget your insurance.

This whole covid test from this hospital is just a way to rip off money from tourists. Plus, the doctors seem to only care about the money they get from the process. I got my test results just an hour before departure after calling several times with no answer while I just waited outside the airport for my results. The hospital should work on their customer relationship

Place was clean and service was quick but be careful - They use tourists as a way of making easy money. I had 5 sea urchin spines that needed removing, 5 minute examination/surgery (and $250) later and only a very slight improvement. Just make sure you have travel insurance.

I was admitted for one night because of a strong gastroenteritis. I must say that the structure is clean and comfortable. Nurses are professional and friendly. The kind doctors, Egyptians, put me back on my feet the next day. Thanks from Italy.

2-3 Doctors from Egypt found their way to make money. They ask you in which hotel you are staying and decide an examination fee accordingly. For a very short examination he asked for 70$; when I asked about the offical price list stating examination fees, he has prepared a list for about 15mins printed out and gave it to me. Dont support such people.

Overall much better than expected considering the location where we are. The place is clean, even if not as we are used to in western hospitals but nothing that can be of worry. The majority of doctors are Egyptians and they cover most common language.Very kind and professional service. If something is very serious they will transfer to Stone Town hospital. If even more serious then Nairobi.

They charged more than their price list. The medical examination cost 70 dollars. They charged me 130 dollar for 5 minute examination. They ask which hotel you stay and they will charge you accordingly. Dont visit that medical center if you don t want to overcharge you

I arrived in Stone Town with a sever cough debating whether or not to fly home or find a doctor. Upon arrival in Nungwi I asked the hotel for a doctor. North Valley sent a car for me, quickly diagnosed me with severe bronchitis, and then gave me the best care. Surgeon Michael had a wonderful and playful bedside manner and fixed me right up allowing me to completely enjoy the remainder of my holiday. I was so completely impressed. Thank you so much! Had you not been there, I would have flown home! Instead I was able to enjoy the beauty of Zanzibar 😊 I am so incredibly grateful and highly recommend!

Yep! Watch out for being ripped off. My guest has some seaurchin in her palm and leg, yet it is not a serious thing and they got charged 800 usd for that.This is not only rip off but litterly stealing. Unbelievable!

I went to this clinic with a bad gastroenteritis and was experiencing extreme pain.Doctor John and the male nurses at the clinic treated promptly and made me feel very safe. I was on the drip during the day and came home during the night but Doctor John made sure I had his direct number so we could stay in touch if any concerns arise.I was also assisted with my health insurance claim as I never used it before.The assistance I received was amazing from beginning to end and I would definitely recommend this clinic.

I went to North Valley Clinic this morning with a very high body temperature that paracetamol (even in quantities) was not able to cool down.The place look very net and clean, the nurses very efficient and proactive. In few minutes doctor visited me and start immediately with a drip to cool down my temperature. After collection of blod and urine for all the necessary tests one one their drivers take me to another hospital for Xray. When back with all the results doctor start immediately my treatment and now Im home with no fever.I Red other comments saying they are to costly, that is not true, for all what they did the price I paid it was very very honest. NORTH VALLEY CLINIC the best private clinic I ever saw in Africa and Im in Africa since 1990!!!
