A lovely local cafe situated a 10 min walk in from the beach front. If you want a traditional Swahili local breakfast this is the place to go. Breakfast is TZS 10,000 (£3) and includes an omelette, sweet bread, chapatti, sausage (if they have it!) and juice and coffee. Cutlery and plates were all very clean. Great service and perfect if you want to experience the real side of Zanzibar.

Had a massive appetite and only managed to finish half the plate! (Breakfast), and only for TSH10,000. The food is simple but very good, clean glasses, cups and plates.A very good place to go if you want a good local style meal at an amazing price.The sitting area is very nice, secluded from the street, and only a 10 minute walk from the Kendwa Rocks hotel.Will definitely be back.

Very cool place, lots of young people playing pool and having a good time. Very good breakfast with eggs, fresh juice, chai or coffe and so on for a very affordable price (10000tsh), great food otherwise ! Their chapati is the best I’ve tasted on the island, you really must try it !

Its a kiosk! How can this be a cafe? They arrived at 20.00, no one was there and there was no one, the grill is not on, the waitress says I can make fries or rice with meat (as I understand it, what is in the pots in the fridge will be on the plate).
