The place is more advanced as you can now have very delicious spiced KFC chicken. Come and test it.

My kids loved it! They asked to go back the next day.Alot of the equipment is broken, but considering the location and zero upkeep, I was pleased. How a plastic slide can get a giant hole on the bottom of it baffles my mind, however. There is a toilet there... Which was weird, because its just a toilet - in complete public view, not a single wall for privacy. Not sure what the point was.I will take my kids there to play again, for sure.

Took the kids here about five years ago. It was built by a British guy who used to live and work in Karatu. Its better than a lot of playgrounds here in the UK. The local boys and girls were really friendly, helping and playing with our two boys (who were 3 and 1 at the time) so we bought sweets for them all from a stall by the gate. Great place and an unexpected find. If youre passing through with children on the way to a safari then stop by and stretch your legs.
