Get local transport to Arusha City and other neighbouring areas

Is the place where you can get transpotation to variety places like Arusha,Simiyu, Mwanza, etc

Only Landcruiser and Rover works this regions

Its difficult out there during rain season alot of mudslide, water holes and good service because many small cars, eg minibus, buses and motorcycle.

Karatu bus station is a local bus station with many shops, supermarkets and many other shops.. the roads are dusty and the population of people is low.

Its not well organized

Karatu is a rapidly growing centre. It is a District head quarter surrounded by tourist lodges/hotels. Its in between Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation. Other social devices such as Health service are also available such Karatu Lutheran Hospital, FAME medical Service both private and Government owned Double DD Health Centre

Still new and young bus stop but busy on its operations as it connects the small town of Karatu which is surrounded with Manyara National Park with Arusha city

Easy way to find a means of transport while in Karatu.

Well coordinated bus station like most bus stations in Tanzania, needs lots of sprucing up though.

Not well built but its transportation services are good and station Staffs are polite

Its a public place which needs a lot of improvementPeople are friendly and helpful... However cautiously you shouldnt trust someone you dont know..Simply dont privatise your responsibility of your personal safety to someone else

At this time since there is rainfall the place is too bad because there are a lot of mud if you have weak shoes you may leave them on the ground.

I like the place because its the connection point to ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara National Park

Is just a normal place. The station is not paved att all. Its troublesome for rain season

Visitors those who are coming with public transport from Dar es salaam or Arusha they have to stop there for another transport to anywhere
