Me and my friend stayed at jambiani house for 12 days and it was absolutely amazing 🤩 Natalija and Matej are the perfect hosts. Super friendly and helpful. They show us everything u need to know, where to buy groceries, good restaurants, bars and so much more.They have a super funny tourist guy as well who knows how to speak English and even Slovenian since, that’s kinda hard to find it on the island 😛 trips with him are so much fun!!I would haughty recommend that accommodation if u want to see real Zanzibar and be safe at the same time. Cuz these two guys will arrange everything for you and make sure that u will be enjoying every second spend on the island.

Jambiani House was the best possible choice for exploring Zanzibar. As soon as we landed, the friendliest taxi driver Ocho, was waiting for us to took to the House. The warmest and sweetest hosts Natalie and Matej accepted us as a friends and gave us many recommendations and advice to get the most out of Zanzibar in a short time period of 8 days that we were there. They were always there in we needed something.The beach is just a few steps away from the house and being close to the village gives you the real experience of live in Jambiani. The room was very clean and we felt very safe al the time. Some of us had the best possible sleep on the comfortable matresses.Thank you Jambiani House for make us fall in love with Zanzibar. With my boyfriend visited Zanzibar in January 2020. We decided to spent our first week with Nataly, next week we spent in resort next to Nataly, but we spent most of the time together.The apartments are nice - clean and comfortable. If you are looking for 5* resorts, then visit north part of the island, but from my point of view, to get this Zanzibar feeling, this is the best option ever. You have your own kitchen and you can prepare breakfast and dinners by your own, Nataly and her husband help you and provide you all the needed information, where to buy (or even they buy it for you! :). They are very nice and you dont have to care about anything - you just enjoy the sun and your holidays.The best part of everything - TRIPS with Nataly. She has her own tourist guide, who named himself JANEZ NOVAK :) . He knows a lot of Slovenian words, not only the nicest one :), but he is one of the best tourist guide I have ever met in my life. He knows all the secret places, not crowded at all - fairytale! If you are looking for a cheaper trips, you can get it, but I can share my experience - it is not worth it. JANEZ is the best, Nataly and her husband are very nice and helpful people, who are also cooking the best seafood in my life.Come and visit them, we will go back asap!ZANZIBAR is a dreamy place to visit ... meet local people, try the best fruits ... visit acrobat center ... donate for children ... HAKUNA MATATA, JAMBO JAMBO! :)

Staying with Nataly was an amazing experience. Nataly and her husband Matej know all the tips & tricks you need to know while visiting Zanzibar, as well as being caring, kind and accommodating to their guests. Their apartments are well equipped, clean and comfortable. The beach, mini market and a wonderful restaurant are located literally a few steps out of the apartments. If you are looking for a stay that provides a true African-Jambiani experience, this is the place to be. It’s really beyond just an apartment, it’s an experience!

We choose Zanzibar for our honeymoon trip and I think this was the best decision we could make.We spent 10 days in Jambiani House. An excellent decision again. Hosts were great and very helpful from day 0 to day 10. Nataly welcomed us with a big smile on her face at 4am, when we arrived. They arranged everything we asked, trips, store visits, taxi fare and much more. And because of their wide knowledge of Zanzibar, they were full of very useful hints all the time. The fridge in apartment was filled with cool drinks, which we ordered in advance, and after a long trip, there is nothing better than a cold drink on a porch. On first day, hosts even surprised us with a delicious cake and a sparkling wine from our country, so, definitely rate 5+++ for their hospitality!!Hosts also have their regular tour guide, and his tours around the island are really awesome. A lot of interesting information, combined with huge amounts of laugh all day. Very well organized. Really, Faustino is the best!The apartment is very big, it was prepared and clean when we arrived. It is not luxury furnished, but anyway apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. A nice cooking spot, big fridge, sink, bathroom, toilet, king size bed, bunk bed and much more.. A good shower (when a low tide kicks in), and a very very big bed - that is all the luxury we needed inside! The best part is again a very big porch. Sand, sand all around. This was the best place to relax and to spend free time.Overall, food in Zanzibar was excellent. A lot of fresh seafood everywhere, beef and chicken too, dishes combined with several delicious sauces. They have the one of the best potato chips we have ever had, so it was quite a challenge not to order chips as a side dish every time. A nice restaurant is just around a corner, and more of them are further down the beach, so there is no need to go far for a nice meal.After 10 days in Jambiani House, we went for 4 days in a resort in Kiwengwa. Of course, it was much more luxurious, all inclusive service, marvellous place with pool and also overall a great experience, but it was simply not Africa anymore, too much tourists in one place, and if we were to choose one more time, we would spend entire holiday in Jambiani. The feeling, the nature, the surroundings.. Simply priceless.To summarize all experience, this was definitely the best vacation we had. I strongly recommend Jambiani House to everyone, especially Slovenian tourists!

Perfect location for spending holidays in Zanzibar. The beach, restaurants (with excellent local food) and market are only few steps away, as well as local peoples homes so its an overall experience of true Zanzibar. The apartment has everything you need, including stove, fridge and outside sitting area. Natalija and Matej are amazing and nothing can top their hospitality!

We were there 5 nights and we still regret that we didnt stay longer. Me and my girlfriend have visited a lot of places already and nowhere we didnt feel as comfortable and relaxed as here. Like second home. The apartment has everything that you need on your vacations (big bathroom, big bed, stove, outside sitting area...) the location itself is beautiful in my opinion the best in all Zanzibar the beach is totaly white and clean, and you also have a lot of small bars and mini shops nearby, so you dont need to drive far away with a taxi to get something. And what we really liked is that you see the true picture of the Zanzibari life there, because the locals have the houses really near, so you can see their everyday life and struggle, despite that they are very poor they were always very friendly and polite to us.And the best thing there are the owners (Nataly and Matej), they really do everything in their power to help you with everything, especially with the trips, they have an amazing tour guide with really affordable prices.. Really amazing couple, after a few days there you feel like you are their family. And you are always protected and surrounded with ther dog Čvrček and cat Shiba, perfect for the people who love animals. We will definitly come back again! 5/5

You need to see to believe, destination !!!!! I was there 14 days and it was amazing. Apartment of the hosts was big, clean and ready when I came. I wouldnt change it for any room in any hotel. If you want to cook by yourself there is nice kitchen and you can buy all the things near. Inside is also a fridge where you can put own drinks so you dont need to go every time to some bar to have a cold one (Believe me its a BIG+). What I liked the most was porch in front. You can sit or lay there like a boss.Hosts were extremely friendly and caring. I tell you, really good persons! They gave me all the information which I was asking for. They provide and organize also trips. And trips are really ORGANIZED! From the time you left the apartment to the time you come back.Some words to guides on those trips. Thank you for all the fun and laugh we had together! They are the best ;)About Island itself people there and nature... You need to go there and see. With words its hard to explain.Anyway I want to see all this, AGAIN and AGAIN.

Zanzibar an island paradise which draws in beach-goers and foodies alike. I stayed in House Jambiani, which is spacious, cosy and simple at the same time, with nice open terrace where can you chill and enjoy the beauty of the island. Location of apartment is outstanding cause, two steps away is blue water and white sandy beach, small bars and local restaurant, where can you try local dishes. Beside that if you want to feel an autentic Zanzibar and experience how the locals are living, try their food, visit local kindergarten and shop in small local store, where selling most delicious fruits, than you are at the right place. If you want to stay healthy on your vacation, no worries you aswell can rent SUP and Kitesurf . The hosts, Nataly and Matej are warm, kind, laid back, and very friendly. They are going to provide you with all nice tips as where and what to eat, what to visit and how to get the most of your vacation. I guess all of us need that! I would just mentioned, Nataly recommended me a Spice market trip with the most funniest tour guide ever, Fausti! Something unforgettable! Honestly i reccommend House Jambiani (Matej and Nataly), cause without them my short visit would not be so autentic and memorable as it was. Thank you, and hope to see you again! Good luck!

I was in Jambiani in February. The island 🌴 is beautiful. If you want a nice holiday you must go there.People are friendly, the ocean is warm and clear and the color of the water 💦 is magical.I recommend the Jambiani House.

Perfect location, 20 meters from the white sand beach. The hosts are extremely welcoming and helpfull with informations. The grocery store is 40 meters from the apartments. Nataly has her own taxi driver who can pick you up and take you to the airport plus she has a local travel guide who will show you the magic of the island.Ps: this is not a hotel but accomodation located in the village, so true african experience is guaranteed ;)

Our trip to Zanzibar would not be so much fun and great if we didnt spend it on Jambiani at Mataly house. The apartment is located among the locals, only a few meters away from the beach, shops and restaurants are just steps away. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the apartment is very spacious, clean and well equipped. Natalia organizes trips to your liking that are all the more special and interesting because of the guide Faustin, which makes individual trips all the more memorable and at the same time instructive. Laughter is definitely not missing :). To anyone who decides to travel to Zanzibar, I would definitely recommend checking with Natalia and Matthew. Pure 5ka;).

Very nice and spacious apartment, just steps away from the sea. Nearby are restaurants and hotels where you can swim in the pool. The owners are very friendly, responsive and always available. They provide all the information and services (shop, local sim card, taxi ...) without any problems. She also recommends that you go on some excursion with guide Faustin - it makes the trip all the more special and interesting (all matters regarding the trip are settled by Mrs Nataly). Mataly house apartments offers a great location because of the dream beach, and you can see the life of the people there, which makes the trip really unique and unforgettable. If you decide to stay with Nataly and Matthew you will definitely not be sorry! :)

Recently we were at Natalia. Staying at Natalia provides the experience of Zanzibar, the way it is. If you are open and want, you get an insight into the lives of ordinary people. Natalia is strongly integrated into the local community and contributes a lot to her. The apartment has everything you need to stay, if anything else needs, Natalia is accessible every moment and is ready for help. It helps with tips, organizes excursions, provides transportation, or it goes with you to the store, if necessary. The excursions are performed in such a way that they remain in the memory of beautiful landscapes, unique adventures or the smiling Slovenian guide. I highly recommend it!
