I took Padi water open course with Big Ocean Divers. Instructor was good, giving proper explanations. However, I got little injury during diving and was not able in a moment to continue my course. The refund or any money compensation did not exist as an option, altough I did not use all resources for full complete course. Managment staff appeared to be really unprofessional, not answering at all, or saying lies and dissapering again. Altough, they were pretty attentive when it was about giving them money, they failed to treat you with respect and profesionalism, keeping fair communication when it comes to problematic situations. So, if you are not professional divers or you have high diving needs for good adventure and at the same time respectful treatment, avoid this agency. There are plenty more diving centers in Paje and Jambiani, where organization and managment is far better.

Maybe we were really unlucky, but our guide could hardly speak English, didnt know what nitrox was and there was no briefing or information.That surprised everyone.Unfortunately, there were no really comprehensible answers to inquiries.They wanted payment before the dives and only in cash, which I have never experienced before.No emergency equipment on board, we felt very unsafe and I would not like to go there again.It could also have been really bad luck, but no recommendation, no idea how the PADI should be certified.

In December I went diving twice 45 minutes as a Discovery Diver (no previous knowledge) on two days inside and outside the reef off Jambiani / Paje.The boys are well positioned and equipped.Big boat with roof, bottle holder, ladder, modern engines (other boats on the water didnt have that)I have nothing negative to say, but I have no comparison either.The equipment I could use was valuable and in good condition.Before my first dive, I was picked up and we drove to a pool where I received all the technical instructions the day before.The starting point is Jambiani, where the boat and equipment are located. I just kept going there and asked about the next possibility, then an instructor was called and the equipment was already packed.Both instructors were communicative, attentive and repeatedly showed things in the water that I would never have recognized myself.Between the dives there was fresh fruit and water while we drove to the next dive site.Great, will be back! ... for the whole course
