I visited Fumba on my last evening in Zanzibar and its quite a great place for family outing with lots of kids entertainment. The location is awesome with nice evening breeze Zanzibar has to offer. It is open to public on the weekends but despite the amazing facilities on offer the management has failed terribly in putting in place any simple waste management methods. Vendors of all kinds are allowed to sell their merchandise on site, majority being snacks sellers but the sad fact is with no proper waste management in place all the snack wraps are lazily dropped on the ground by the clueless revellers and swept away by wind into the ocean. Some even throw their waste directly into the ocean. The estimated number of people during my visit was over 500 of which I was made to understand sometimes goes higher.The management must do something about this, but all in all its a great family getaway!

Place is good to visit with family as place has rides and stuffs that kids actually as for with DJ station also so elderly can show some their dance moves. There are some food trucks and stalls that serves tasty local bites that one can try out at affordable prices.

A good place to take the kids and spend the evening with. A small recreational park can keep the kids busy as you enjoy the sea breeze in one among many seating areas in the park.
