If you ever happen to be in Stone Town, Zanizibar, please find some time to visit a charity place , shelter and vet office called Zaaso , its only about 10 km from Stone Town. If you love animals, please help Zaaso as they are the only charity taking care of stray, sick, beaten and mistreated animals on the island. Just a small donation wont ruin your holiday budget and will mean a lot for all those poor animals. Maybe you can buy some pet food in a local shop and deliver it to Zaaso? That way you help both local people and Zaaso. Please make your holiday meaningfull 😍help those wonderful people working there.

Zaaso saved the life of my cat. She had to be in the clinic for 2 weeks and they always kept me updated about her condition and did everything possible. You see clearly how much they care for the animals. Thank you so much!

Yesterday we brought our puppy to this “clinic” and they killed our puppy. Left us yesterday with hundreds promises that everything will be good. And killed her. So my advice to you, never ever bring your animals to this monsters.

We visited the animal shelter today, what the people are doing there is indescribable, they help as much as possible, they are very happy about small donations, the cats are very trusting and everyone wants to be petted, the way there was not easy, but we asked three people and arrived safely, it is not signposted from the street. It is the only place where animals in need find shelter. Thanks to the kindness of the people working there, we visited the shelter during our vacation. Therefore, I can confirm the commitment and dedication of the employees. You can see that they are doing it out of kindness, regardless of the lack of help from the government and part of the population that has not been educated since a little love for animals. Dogs, cats and other animals are well cared for, fed and certainly not getting hurt. They dont have enough money to make a fence and more boxes, so if you can, help in any way you can.
