Its rooms are spacious but usable items like a food menu, a pair of slippers, were missing. The telephone was broken, remote for the Ac didnt work and there wasnt enough hot water.I wouldnt rate it 4*3* is good enough

There arent many hotel options in Dodoma but this is sone of them. Rooms are large and clean, there is a swimming pool but I didnt use it, so cant comment, the restaurant and bar are not great so breakfast is all I had there. The we re is no satellite or international tv. But as a place to stay on Dodoma it is fine.

Good Hospitality, Clean & Secured Environment, WiFi available, the rooms are big with required supplies. There are conference facilities in the in the same compound.However, their breakfast is not so much exciting(50/50), laundry towels are Old (Consider take your own).

The hotel is good to stay while in Dodoma, good customer service offered by charming staff. In addition, it is a secure environment, the food from their restaurant was very delicious.

Room was nice and clean, with nice furniture and proper amenities. Staff wasnt very knowledgeable about surrounding tourist attractions, food was mediocre and waiters were hardly able to understand any requests or questions in English.

Its a very nice place to stay in, in the short time I have been there Ive really enjoyed a lot. The board room is very excellent, the food very pleasant and the hotel staff very kind.I would suggest you to visit the place someday.

Morena hotel is a 3 star hotel. I enjoyed the conference venue. However, I think they need to improve meals for large number of people.

Very average hotel (prob 2 star equivalent) but had a decent experience- Helpful yet inexperienced staff.- While not bad, would recommend to have food somewhere outside of the hotel.- Rooms are large but rather dated, like much of the interior.

More than hospitable staff, clean room including bathroom. Fantastic environment with lot of green vegetation that will leave your eyes with awe.

Everything you would expect of a nice hotel. Very spacious rooms, the best breakfast in town, and everything else. But, dont pay loundry costs direct to the room service attendants who request for cash when they bring back the clothes in your room cause you will be billed again when checking out.

I was in room 303, it was spacious, bed was the best. I didnt like the shower coz it was tiny and had slippery tiles. The view from the room is OK though you will be only seeing the highway road and bare dry land. The hotel has a nice garden.The breakfast was standard.The swimming pool is small and the gym is extremely small.The room decor is good. It flows with floor and walls.In this specific room, the Ac was not working in the way I wanted. Not good.I also didnt like the elevator. Its only one and very tiny, maximum capacity is 10 persons. For this big hotel I expected more.

I attended five days conference at Morena, within these five day I had best time to enjoy Morena services, some of the best services I can share are as follows.1. The services to visitors is very good and reception workers are so active and deserve 5 starts.2. The conference rooms are of good standard, nice sound system and air system is so nice.3. Food served is of good quality and standard and all in all the food was so delicious.4. The management did a lot on managing cleanness all over the hotel and I would like to congratulate them.By mentioning some of the good experience I enjoy at Morena, I would like to recommending Morena Hotel for accommodation & conference services.

Visited for a quiet and chilling weekend afternoon. The place is cool and very calm. When you visit Dodoma and want to have a good afternoon bliss, you should visit here. I enjoyed the pool and the affordable lunch which you will always enjoy. They have moderate good customer service for at first it took a bit longer to get service. They serve the food in time and it tastes well. I had a Morena Beef Fillet which had the fried egg topping. They also have nice fried wings with a side salad. You will enjoy the experience!

Do not believe previous reviews! I think I must have stayed in a different hotel. I had 6 nights here and will never return.Positives: the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked and the hotel was clean.Negatives: Where do I start? This hotel looks great on the outside but the level of attention to me as a customer was awful. We waited 1 hour 40 minutes for our (only) evening meal to be served. No word of apology. When it did arrive the food was less than satisfactory. The breakfast was consistently poor. I asked for a plain omelette and was served Spanish style. No apology and no replacement. The bread products were dry every day. Getting to sleep on 3 out of the 6 nights was impossible due to the music turned up to maximum distortion level. The safe in my room had no key. I asked at reception and was told this would be rectified. Nothing. The shower door could barely open as the toilet was in the way. A large person would not be able to get in! Once in the shower it drained badly. The dollar to shilling rate is a complete rip off! Previous reviewers talk about friendly staff. Seriously? No smiles, no warmth, even when I tried to speak my rudimentary Swahili.In summary, this hotel promises much and delivers very little, looks great on the outside but rotten on the inside. Do not believe previous reviewers! I chose the hotel on the basis of good reviews and wish I hadnt.

The place looks good and is within town centre. The rooms are of good size however I couldnt understand why the standard rooms were all on the ground floor...in other words you only get to sleep upstairs when you can pay more. Furthermore the rooms and the conference room are somewhat overpriced for the area and type of service as it didnt have a gym or sauna. I got the impression from the staff that they were happy with their pricing and if you cant afford it then beat it.

One of the best hotels in Dodoma today. Ideally located just off the main road across town. On the downside, the food wasnt that great on the day I visited.

Somewhat decent facilities overall and access to many other locations of interest in the vicinity. Shower floor is hazardously slippery. Room safe non-functional. Restaurant services very slow and breakfast is monotonous. Improper care of perishable liquid drinks; cereal milk and fruit juice was spoiled on more than one occasion. Modest gym not cared for despite good equipment installed it was dusty and stuffy. Great potential for improvement. Could also use some improvement in quality customer care across the team. I will visit again hoping for imrpovement over tine.

Good hotel to stay for long periods. Its a convenient hotel to hold business meetings and conferences. Though small, but it has a pool area. Its located close to town and other essential services. Service from staff and food is also good. Its fairly hygienic too. Prices range from $50 onwards.

With the capital city growing in numbers of travellers and visitors. The hotel is one of the best as of now. Larger rooms, polite staff who are ready to listen. It is affordable sinve the rates are not too exagerrated. The buffet breakfast is lovely with a wide range of continental foods.

It is a good place, there is a lot to enjoy for.

Good hotel..Only that our request for a late check out was outright rejected! It was disappointing as the front office insisted us to pay for the whole day extra! We only asked for extra 2 hours!

The rooms are huge and nicely finished. I couldnt get any hot water though. The restaurant is disappointing. Breakfast was not great and service even worse.

The place is clean, probably the best hotel in dodoma. The reason it missed 5 stars is because the staff was not friendly and almost dreaded answering questions. But if you looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay in dodoma, this is the one.

Calm and private place to be

A beautiful hotel located just by the road. It is hige with enough rooms and other facilities ie. confrence, swimming poolIt is a nice quiet place for meetings or get aways. Its greenish area will have you carried away ans the maintance is perfect. There are taxis just by the gate and also other means of transports like Bajaji or public buses. The hotel is very accesible. The rooms are huge and spacious ans there kitchen ia open 24 7They have a wide range of foods on there menu that can carter for most people. I would recommend anyone to visit while in Dodoma
