So I had to do 14 days in Tanzania 🇹🇿 before I could enter Saudi. While I was here I decided to have a look around some popular spots and found slipway. Its not a bad place to find a few souvenirs and chill at some restaurants. Pretty chilled atmosphere

Beautiful location, truely world class. Its an ideal sojourn for a weekend and a neat setup with plenty of curio stores, book shops and restaurants... thats pretty much everything that one could ask for in a tropical paradise..It is always a pleasure to spend a lazy afternoon here. Good place for hanging out whether with kids around or on ones own enjoying a cool beer or two.

Great view of Indian Ocean...Nice location for shopping Tanzanian handicrafts, paintings, wooden sculptures...etc.

Good place to visit in the afternoon. You need to know how to deal with locals. Plenty of good stuff to buy. Then find a good seat with your favorite drinks, enjoy your afternoon delight with sunset. Life is good!

I love all the variety of stores shops and restaurants.the beach view is beautiful. It is overall family friendly. You can find lots of different little local shops in Slipway as well.

Must go place in Masaki. It is the most happening area with high quality restaurants such as Waterfront, Thaikani, Anatolia. Ocean spa at the corner is great. And the fresh juice center is really nice. Shereeji supermarket is good for urgent daily need items. Shopping is a must plan activity here as there are plenty of options.

A very cool place

Very good place for tourists, it has Very beautiful beach,amazing sunset,turquoise water ,white sand ,many shops, many restaurants and bars.in the evening during the sunset its more beautiful as locals come down the beach to play volleyball,football and also high jumps.we did a fishing tour with babli which was in my birthday and later in the evening joined a sunset boat party which is wonderful and I can recommend this experience to everyone .music in the boat with drinks.

Its a great place to grab a bite to eat and see the sunset. It feels like its made for tourist but from the crowd it draws it was mostly upper class locals. Even given that, the restaurant prices were reasonable and the stores sell good looking stuff. Just dont use the ATM there it charges a lot in fees.

Large array of shops but it was rather overwhelming to be hassled by so many vendors. Much as one wants to support, its impossible to buy from everyone. However, its an excellent use of space as the slip yard was formerly used to build boats but now one section is dedicated to selling arts and crafts. Well worth a visit.

Kudos to whoever created this place that resembles a piece of heaven on earth. With people, kids running, pets, good food and a wonderful bookshop. Its a place to make beautiful memories, whether one has a full wallet, or not! Its the sunset scenes I love best there.
