So just make sure you go early to buy your ticket and dont rely on online bookings coz you will be disappointed,I booked tickets on a number on their site and when I got there ,they told me that the train is fully booked,it took a lot of arguing and showing them proof that I talked to one of the employees to give me a ticket,other than that they are time cautious,Zambian time doesnt apply here,if they say 14;00hrs then its 14:00hrs,and I loved that,the food is nice too,I got on the mukuba train, very clean train

I love this place is good 👌 hence always I use TAZARA TRAN to travel from dar es salam to morogoro,mbeya,njombe,iringa and also the area is good for enjoyment and there is good service for people visit in this area welcome 😊 dear friends and enjoy

The overall structure of Tazara is quite lovely. Architecture lovers will love it. The place is however needs to be taken care of more and something like the train schedule board would be quite helpful. Most of The staff were generally very helpful although we also ran into some who werent cordial. If youre taking the train i highly suggest you book atleast two weeks in advance and make a call closer to the date to confirm if your seats are still secure. Also go to the station early enough so you’re not running around looking for where to board the train as its not quite obvious just by looking.

Have Express train from Dar es salaam to Zambia on every fridays at 1500hrs

For within the city routes also covers routes to Zambia through Moro, Iringa and Mbeya.

Offices though look old fashioned, but the serve important relationship with our neighbouring countries like Zambia, DRC and Malawi.

The long serving railway station operating from Daressalaam 🇹🇿 to Lusaka 🇿🇲 giving services of transport for passengers and luggage 🧳 plus heavy loading containers depot.It connects to South Africa 🇿🇦 too.
