I dont understand, the requirements needed are updated online when you fill the form. There are other things to go with, but what annoyed me most, once u get there they ask you to attach other requirements( documents) at the end you do return back home with nothing, very tired and after youve wasted a lot of your time.So I please request that you should try to add all the documents you people want us to be coming with... For example if you say the applicant must come with marriage certificate specify whether it should be a copy or original,Same to form four, form six, standard seven results and university results, please be specific copy or original. In addition, to those who are married whether they should come with their husbands or wives.

There is a strict dress code for ladies and gents. Ladies cannot enter with short skirts and revealing tops. Men cannot enter with shorts. Queues can vary, but usually long. So best to get there as early as you can. There is an information desk if you find yourself overwhelmed. There is plenty of parking space outside. Just look for a parking attendant and they will show you the closest available parking.

Too many delays, customer service overwhelmed by number of people. Recommend to have more officers serving the big population especially these times when a deadline for having a new passport is placed. The dates they give you to follow up on passport is usually prolonged and changed to another scheduled date with every visit. Very disappointing. Exhaustive experience.

They don’t reply to any support emails, even after multiple weeks of sending. They don’t appear to answer the phones either. Extremely horrific service that needs substantial improvement.

SUCH A RUDE PEOPLES. THEY DONT REPLY OF YOUR EMAILS AND EVEN THEY DONT HAVE A PROPER SYSTEM. I HAD APPLIED FOR VISA AND THEY DEDUCT MY PAYMENT BUT DIDNT GET ANY CONFIRMATION FROM THEM. I WAS SENDING REQUEST EMAILS DAILY, I HAVE MY FLIGHT AND I HAVE TO TRAVEL. I HAD TO CANCEL THE TICKETS, I LOST MY MONEY OF TICKETS AND VISA ALSO. SUCH A RIDICULES PEOPLES. WHENEVER I TRY TO CALL THEY JUST PICK THE CALL AND DIDNT ANS, EVEN I LOST LOT OF MONEY FOR INTER-NATION CALLING. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT I RECEIVED FROM TANZANIA GOVERNMENT

Personally I had no issues when I renewed my travel document. If all requested documents are submitted you are good. Immigration officer on counter handled my issue was straight forward and helpful. Too much queues but organized. There are dressing codes ethics / there I recommend to dress formal wear to avoid disappointment.

Maybe it was the first time,I got a world class service from a government office.they treated clients with curtesy,very fast services.if u have downloaded a passport application form filled it properly,and attach the required documents it’s super fast.The total time spent there to file my application it’s minutes not hours.Im waiting for my passport.It ll take ten days from now,Could it be less than that?.Overall experience..Satisfied.

This place is chaos. Queue number system that was initialised some years ago is suspended (yet infrastructure with screen above each counter and issuing machine still existing). Officers shout at you that you are supposed to ask the waiting people of who is the next in line before you. Signages and info boards dont make sense.

Thats the worst place i have been a citizen of tanzania since i waz born and i was given a passport at first but after it expired and i went to renew it they said am not a citizen and made me go there for more than a month making me miss school and atlast when i was about to be given a passport they said their computer systems are slow and i have to wait for more than half a month am sick and tired of them

Totally poor service... Working as if not paid salary for years. Needs soo much of IMPROVEMENT . And guess what its called the HEADQUARTERS OF IMMIGRATION.

Too much bureaucracy, atleast now they have changed the application into online system, but still the process is very long for one to obtain passport

You are not allowed to enter the premises if you a wearing trousers or pants for ladies. Also sleeveless shirts and t-shirts are not allowed
