Flew to Dar Es Salaam to Julius .N International Airport this 2021 Christmas HolidayHad one checked bag during the trip through Ethiopian AirlinesWe arrived in the middle of the day at Julius N. International and found my main luggage was missingWe immediately spoke with Swissport staff who have an office right in the luggage claim area. They were helpful and friendlyThe problem is delivery of the luggage to our place of stayThey took their own sweet time; may false promises about delivery; and delivered to the wrong address the first timeThey clearly prefer travellers to drive all the way to the airport in Dar to retrieve their luggageNot a great experience- A Canadian and first time Tanzanian traveller

Had the worst customer care experience ever tonight . Definitely won’t be travelling or advising anyone to travel with them .As per routine I went up to the first front desk where they check the visa and permits and unfortunately I didn’t have any transit visa to transit to Switzerland . The people at the front desk being quite helpful advised me to go speak to the head at the check in ,(where they weigh the bags and give you the tags for the trip) . As advised I moved to where the check in was and weighed my bags which were a little over the allowed weights . They asked for 150$ which I didn’t have hence I told them I could remove a few things as I was sorting my route problems with my travel agency . One of my bags was 1 kg over and the other bag was 3 kg over . The hand luggage however was 11kg and permitted apparently was 6 kg . Thus I tried my level best to reduce the needful and when I asked if I could carry out my winter jacket as it was in my luggage and knowing I was heading to a rather cold place with winter , the woman refused in a very cold manner . She kept judging me and coming to nag me in the area I was reducing my clothing and honestly I felt harassed and uncomfortable. She was very loud and rude and was almost shouting at me like I can’t speak for myself . I advised her that she should be calm as I work with customer care and that’s not a very good way to speak to customers . She then asked me how she was rude and if she had not repeated what she told me 3 times . I then said it’s okay that maybe she’s having a bad day and she retorted saying she’s pretty fine . I honestly felt very disgusted and ill to my guts and even with all the plans my agents was trying to pull eventually told them to cancel my ticket and would not be flying with them . I 100 percent don’t recommend this flight ! Zero customer care service , poor communication , bad language . They need to work on a lot of things and apparently she was the head of the department or whatever .

As a GHA company offers service to airline from landing to take off and make sure their service best regarding customers needs they have Swissport training facilities to enable its staff to have on job training

I visited to work with EAC Group a Cleaning And Forwarding company. They provide best services just in case you have a cargo you can contact them or visit their offices at the Airport.

I reach in Tanzania and my bag was left in transit by Oman air in oman and they bring my bag on the next flight. At morning they called me and said my bag is at j.k airport, at night I went to take my bag. Too bad found my bag opened. Then I checked in front of them I didnt recognize anything is missing. Even the zip inside was half closed but i didnt recorgnize anything is missimg, But after I went home I realized some of my cosmetics are missing, Mac foundation and lipstick and powder. This is shame. This is big shame

The treatment of the follow-up of the non-receipt of my luggage was catastrophic. No transmission or follow-up at the file level. We had to go through Qatar airways directly.Moreover, when I left, I noticed with disgust a real favoritism at the level of the check of the swiss port control agents before the registration of the ticket and my luggage. I queued quietly and arrived in my turn. We privileged passengers behind me not because of the class of their flight. Having paid for a ticket like the others, I was shocked by this treatment. I found that Europeans like me of white color have a privilege different from mine. I wanted to find out and they told me to leave. Thanks to them.
