If I could give zero star it would be great.Trying to make PCR test at Moshi was a patient exercise.Working hours 9:00 - 13:00, although they opened at 12:00....The man that was making the test asked for 50$ extra per person if we wanted to take on time our results.Shame on you guys!

Rude in efficient, I received my test results by text but my wife did not now on a Sunday we have arrived to try to find where her results are, the lady who’s supposed to be finding her results is bossy she told us to put our masks on and yet she was not wearing one herself, we pay $100 to be treated like cattle I know these tests only cost $2 to so someone is making a huge amount of money and they cannot even be polite

Late morning we arrived. Through the temperature check at the security gate to the outdoor check-in desk. A nice man (helps to bring a white lady) guided us through signing up on the website on our phones by passing them back and forth (very covid-safe lol) to put in our names, passport numbers, and have him go through the drop-down menus to get a control number texted to our local SIM card number. Then go all the way back to the container to pay in CASH ONLY 230,000 shillings (460k for two people), plus 2000 service fee (for paying in cash?! lol). Then go to a tent to get a service number in the queue. Took maybe 10-15 minutes from the gate to the waiting. They had called 61-70, we were over 200. Then the staff went to lunch. The next numbers I heard in english were 101-110. Expecting at least another hour wait. There are drink vendors, one who sells through the fence and one who walks through occasionally with a bucket of drinks.They stopped calling numbers at 12:30, lunch time (unannounced, they just walked away). After 1.5 hour lunch hour lol they started calling numbers again at 2pm. All in all we were there just over 3 hours. Results were received in email the day after next in the morning.

The only place to do the COVID-19 PCR test in Dar Es Salam!!Takes about 48hrs for US$50

Had visited this place for Covid test. Very well organized. Good seating arrangement in the waiting area. Generally, the waiting is for about 45 minutes depending on the no. Of applications. Application is on line, fee is USD 100. Result does not come by email. One has to log in next day on their website and check.

The COVID test here is cheaper than most of the other places ( 230 000 shillings). We arrived there around 8:30am and we spent two hours there in total, which is not too bad! Bring cash cause they don’t take cards.

Terrible! I made booking, SMS came with ID. Day of testing I reached the place and they told me without any excuse they stopped testing. No signboard, no email, no massage. Now I have to find new testing place very quickly, and pay taxi driver twice. Very unprofessional behavior.

This place is a money-hungry, scamming health clinic. My boyfriend and I came here to get our PCR testing. Upon arrival the staff at the front desk were rude and unprofessional. We asked the staff where we can sign up for the PCR test and were ignored for ten minutes (apparently nobody there spoke English, until they learned that we were carrying cash ... after which they finally proceeded to help us lol.) They charged us a steep $100 USD per person, plus an extra $10 as a “service charge.” The lady then asked us to tip her and her colleagues, and after we did (only because we needed the PCR test for our flight) she asked us for more money.We saw the doctor for the test. We informed him that we had an 11PM flight the following night and asked if we would get our results in time for our flight. He assured us that we would get our results in 24 hrs (5pm the following night.)The doctor then asked us for a tip as well.I also forgot to mention that prior to seeing the doctor, the female security guard at the desk along with two other female staff were looking me up and down, making comments in their language, and laughing out loud. Completely rude and unprofessional.The next day, we did NOT receive our results in 24 hrs as the doctor had told us. In fact we did not receive any email or text from them that whole night and ended up missing our flight. We tried calling them and no answer. We couldn’t come in person either as we had flown to Zanzibar for our flight (the doctor knew this too.) We finally got our results nearly 48 hours later. We gave them money only to be treated horribly and miss our flight because of their carelessness.Please save yourselves the time and money and do not come to this place for any health service, especially if you’re a foreigner. The people are nasty, unprofessional, and only care about taking as much money from you as they can.

The place is very inefficient. The day of testing is fine but when you go to collect your results they make you wait for hours to pick up your results and you go to two to three different places and wait. Its Pathetic. The employees are just sitting scrolling at their phones, maybe if everybody worked we would get our results much faster. Better you go somewhere you pay a little bit more but you dont waste your time.

Not very well organized. Got there at 6am and had the Covid test at 12:30 with someone helping us. They have a system where ticket numbers are handed out but takes a long time. Not enough chairs & shade for everyone

Absolute shambles. Disorganised. Running from A to B. And then I was told I needed a control number even though I filled out a form and did everything properly and had the money. Then had to fill out the form again but it didn’t allow me to choose the same date so am having to go back now and my flight is soon. Absolutely awful. COVID is now big business and these corporations and governments are absolutely milking it.

Because without test its not possible to leave Tanzania these days. I was there on the morning of the 18.02.21 for a test and nose swap. I recommend registering on the website pimacovid.moh.go.tz for a test at least two days before the test itself. The test is valid for 2 weeks! The test result took 34hours, I was tested in the morning 9am. The result came the next day at 6pm. I got notifcated via phone message and email, afterwards I was able to download my test online. After the registration there is a payment code delivered which you need for the payment process at any NMB bank with agents. The price was 230.000 Tsh. for the payment I needed to fill out an online wire form at the bank. The test itself is not so complicated you wait at the back of the building for your number to be called. Than you just go to a room they will check your passport before test after they do nose and mouth test, including waiting I was finished within 45min. For me it seems they do test all day not only in the morning. Also it seems all other hospitals or testing environments around bring their swabs here to this laboratory. If youre flying with KLM you might need a extra rapid test at the airport itself for being able to leave Tanzania.

Dont come here if covid is still there, you wont go home.

So poorly organised 😡Now that I’ve returned to collect the certificates I think I finally understand the process:Turn up by 0600, Queue and then sign in at the security. Fill in a slip and a form - passport number , address and phone number and get your number.. Find a person to take the form from you and add a Control Number. Wait, 2-3 hours , for your number to be called and go to registration desk for yet another form ! Wait outside the Lab until called in for oral and nasal swabs. Then...to a bank to pay your fees. We were $50 each as I think they assumed we were residents here. Back the next day , sign in and remember your sign in sheet number as they will bring batches of certificates once each sheet is full. If only they had a sign explaining this ! 😀

As the main center for Covid 19 test in Tanzania, they do some brilliant efforts to ensure its availability and quick results.

If you want to receice quick service you need to go there at least 2 days before you travel and you need to go early so that you get a number for you to get the Covid test. There is normally long que so make sure you go very early in the morning by 5:30 AM be there to get the number but otherwise they are working hard to assist everyone but people who need the service are just too many!!

Unorganized crime? And results took for ever. They said it will come in our phone, never did. We went there someone has to take control # and names to issue result and it took for ever. Long story short YOU DONT NEED this Test nobody ask for leaving Amsterdam 1.13.21, nobody even ask just wear your mask & you will be fine.All of pressure nobody even mentioned PCR test once? $100.50 ouch it hurts! Money making machine plus you can get COVID-19 in the process of testing. I thought no COVID-19 in Tanzania🤔

Poorly organized , takes ages and you have to pay via mobile money or go to a bank. No credit card payment accepted, .233.800TZS for residents and locals.Its a huge mess here, any test result is negative anyway here.

Plan early 2 avoid disappointment as the people are usually very many. There is not enough shredded waiting space but the results will come out within 24hrs as promised

The procedure for giving samples and collecting results is simple but the rude staff and arrogant people on duty here make your experience horrible.No organization at all, everything is messed up and they make sure you waste your day here rather tha simplifying things.

Great services in regards to Corona sampling tests. Remember to dress decently, theyre strict when its down to dress code (Anything too casual is a No, No).

Staff is cooperative but Testing fee is very high as compare to India. Government should work upon it.

Very crowded, I went there to have my PCR test , unfortunately I waited over 3 hours and I was going to miss my flight!

Procedure is very simple, if you are a foreigner, go with your passport, same day they collect PCR sample and will give you payment form for 1lakh Tanzania shilling.Deposit the amount in the specified bank and go again after 48 hrs to collect your test result showing the bank deposit receipt.Dont entertain any middlemen or agents

Covid-19 test is very fast... Less than 20 minutes... Three stops to the lab. Results back in a day. Foreigners US$ 50, Residents TZS 60,000 and Citizens TZS 40,000. Bon voyage!

They promised that I would receive my results after 24 hrs but it took two days. Also I had to go back to this place to get my results

Make payments via Mpesa for less wait time.Otherwise 3+ hours wait for payment and around 1 hour to get tested.

Dont go unless you have to... Worse than awful... You can wait more than 3-4 hours to take your results... There is no social distance, no security. If you dont have covid, you can have here...

I liked the place, given that it is a government institution trying to provide a public service. More could be done to help ease sitting congestion.
