This was my first time trying korean food in Tanzania and I was not disappointed. The restaurant is tucked away in a quite street located exactly where Google maps tell you, so its easy to locate. The interior itself is quite quaint and has a cosy feel, especially if you sit upstairs in the open floor. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and always available, which as a Tanzanian is a problem our hospitality industry sometimes hasWe ordered kimbap, cheese buldak, bibimbap and kimchi jiggae. All of which arrived within 15 minutes and were delicious. My friends had never tried korean food before but they too loved it. The prices are also reasonable in my opinion. At the end we were served with complementary peach tea, a nice roundup to the evening. To note the restaurant closes at 22:00 if youre used to staying late, be mindful. To the chef 노무노무 감사합니다
Wow! What an amazing find! Tucked away in a back street, the most amazing Korean restaurant I’ve come across in Africa. A huge variety of dishes - we selected a few and all are really genuine, seriously tasty and beautifully presented. Will be back often! And the location on Google maps is precisely accurate.
It was a great experience to me trying something new at this Korean Restaurant. I have never use chop stick before. But i did my level best to learn something new. This place is very cozy and looks special to specific people (Korean Community who lives in Dar es Salaam). However everyone is welcomed.Hotel owner (Korean) she was worrying about the food we ordered, as she thought it will be wasted, because they are rarely serve african people to their restaurant.Tried their korean beer called “Jinro Soju”. Which 60% grain, 20% sweet potatoes, 20% tapioca, 50% Rice and 50% barley. It was too strong for me as alcohol volume was 25%.But It was worth trying! 😊
Friendly service. Directions needed to find the location. No KOREAN short ribs Gai- bi or Kalbi. Disappointed.
Oh loorrddd, a perfect Korean cuisine experience!!!The food was absolutely delicious!! And the staff was so kind! The timings also need a little work therefore I advise you to call before hand, but if youre lucky enough you might be there when its open and THE FOOD!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
I am gonna be here whenever I miss Korean foods while staying here in Dar es Salaam👍🥰
Fantastic hidden gem on the Peninsula. Prices are reasonable. Massive portion sizes. Our food came extremely fast. Try the Bibimbap, it was excellent. Wait staff was very kind, attentive, and professional.

I happened to go to this restaurant for dinner last night. I have tasted many types: seaweed rice, bibimbap, cold noodles, ramen noodles, fried noodles, rice cake soup, kimchi cakes, and honey butter thick toast.Recommended ones: bibimbap, ramen, thick toast and hot latteThere are more varieties than the palace, but the taste is not as good as there... You can come and eat it once if you are early adopters, you must order the hot latte! ! It tastes different from the latte sold in the coffee shop outside. It has cream on the top and sprinkled with masala powder? ! It tastes very nice! Thick toast is also my favorite, but last night I found out that the price was 9,000 shillings before the price increase is now 10,000. Originally, the price of this store was not low and the price was increased...Finally, I also charged 1,000 shillings, which is the most common tin foil packaged lunch box.
When I come to Dar es Salaam, I always come here first, atti is a place that makes you feel Korea. The boss is very kind and the working staff also speaks poor Korean, but they greet you in Korean.People say its expensive, but I personally dont think its expensive just because you can get Korean food here in distant Africa.Although I have lived here for 3 years, this place is always for me. Its like home.We recommend you to visit Dar es Salaam at least once.Thank you sir for the delicious food. post good health
1. All the menus I ate were delicious.-Tteokbokki is really delicious.-Pork Belly Teriyaki and Cheese Bulgogi is an unconditional menu. I highly recommend it!-The iced ice you didnt expect was really good!2. The boss is kind and the staff are good at it!-The boss always welcome you kindly! :)-Employees are all kind and good at work in Tanzania. Take a good order3. PriceIt may feel expensive compared to other restaurants in Dar (except Korean restaurants), but I think Korean food is not expensive considering the difficulty in obtaining ingredients and the high labor costs.4.Comfortable and cool-It is good to be able to eat in a cool and comfortable environment beyond the price.I am now back in Korea and cant go to Atti anymore, but I would recommend Atti if you want to eat at Dar! :)
The staff is friendly and clean, and the menu is diverse, so its good for the whole family. The samgyeopsal menu eaten outdoors is also very delicious and the atmosphere is the best.
Your wife is so kind and delicious. Jjamppong is really better than most Chinese restaurants in Korea. The price is also reasonable. Recommend!
It was great to have Korean food in TanzaniaIts enough to eat two fried chicken! But I dont know what part of the meat it is, but its a bit uncomfortableIt tastes good!Lemonade was sour and nice. But its very sourIs price 6,000 shillings? The price is as expensive as a Korean restaurant in a foreign country. But sell Kilimanjaro in 500ml 3,000silyl ^^The price of water felt expensive even though cookingI want to try other menus too.I recommend you buy one and go in!
Kimchi taste is not Korean kimchi taste. The soy sauce is soaked in soy sauce and you need to pay 5,000tzs to eat more. It is about 2,500 ~ 2,600 won with Korean money.I wanted to make more kimchi, so the staff said I had to pay 5,000tzs. Bibimbap was delicious.
Um ... Because its a Korean restaurant, its 4 stars.1. no affection-If a Korean who is new to a foreign country finds his restaurant, or if it is a Korean, it will be his first time to see you. Ah, just a business shop2. The price is um ...-I searched seven Korean restaurants in DAR through Google ring. The price is expensive while looking at the reviews. Go and feel.3. Food flavor-I lived in a foreign country, so I really wanted to eat Korean food, so I came to my country and ate it.But 4 menus are left and 2 are left.# conclusion-If you are not a person living in Dar, staying in a traveling car for a while, you will not know number one, but you will never go two.The food was delicious. Except two.Food tastes so important to Koreans ... Price? It was the price of a regular Chinese restaurant. But what we need most, we cant say Korean without it ..... !!! Conclusion that this is a Korean store in a foreign country where there is no business. If you see a boss or someone who has a close relationship with this store, please tell us.The price doesnt matter. flavor? Its important, but not so important. In foreign countries. Saying a word, Hey, how are you? ~ How are you?A word of yours could be a bigger patriotic life than going to a local Korean people upstairs today and laughing, but it can give life hope to someone who is struggling alone, struggling for the future. !!!
Sixth chops also really delicious and many groups are also transferred jjangppong makhipnida! The taste is more tidy than anywhere else.
On the first floor, the air conditioner was crisp and cool. The basic kimchi stew was delicious
The food is overall clean and tasty.
Price range like a Korean restaurant in a foreign country. It was good to be able to have delicious dinner.
Its nice because its a Korean restaurant, but the food isnt delicious
Its delicious. Credit card payment. possible
Arusha life is different in 3 months
Korean food is more delicious.
