There is a lack of information once you get there. Very long queues and some staff are rather rude I must admit.However visitors there tend to help each other..There is no order so be ready for people cutting the line 😉 . While waiting in line there isnt much sitting space so be prepared to stand!Overall procedure - ideally get the form online and fill it before arriving there. Submit the form at the reception they will stamp it and you should receive a text message with a control number to make payment. (Top tip- do not leave until you receive this text msg... If it takes long ask them mine had an issue they hadnt registered it and had to do it again) then go to the nearest bank (NMB is relatively close by) take the online form and fill it and go to any teller. When you make the payment you will receive an SMS notification then head back to NHIF with your proof of payment. They will stamp it again and tell you to come back in one month for adults and three months for children!Hope this helps !

Is a place to get national health insurance, available post office opposite kfc building. their services are good when you arrive you take the guard registration forms when you finish filling out you give it to the guard and then you wait for the queue to enter when your turn arrives you are called by your names you return your forms and you are told to wait for the reference number wait within one month to follow your insurance card if ready for use
