Quiet place covered by trees. The only sound wakes you up every morning is birds singing. The room is simple, enough necessity (fan, air-con, water heater, shower...) and quite clean. They change your towel every 2 days. Its far away from center but close to the beach, if you come for holiday. Breakfast is included in price and 15.000 TSH/person/dinner with few options if you are lazy to go out. I chose the place as I thought its social business which supported disable people but when I came, none of them work here anymore. The receptionists are nice and helpful as well as the security guy, Ali. He does not speak English but hes friendly and ready to help anytime you need.PS: wifi is slow, so this is not recommended for people come for work like me. Also the mattress is too soft which makes me sinking (too far) into bed. I wake up everyday with sore lower back.

Is the nice place to stay very quiet, they have a good and beautiful rooftop where you can chill. But the problem is the manager Roberta she is not good at all she is very short tempered every day she fight with the guests. I stay there for two days but I did like her service at all she dont know to communicate with the customer. She is not friendly at all.

We spent a week at CEFA hostel and would have wanted to stay longer. The place has a great vibe, a true authenticity and the host Roberta is really amazing. The terrace and the food are really a must as well. Highly recommend to stay there ! :) Check out their Facebook page as well because lots of upcoming exciting events !

I didnt really stay there, but explored places by going around.Very reasonable prices, discount available for longer stays. Rooms are nice, but simple, mostly of you dont need much to do there besides sleeping. Theres also AC and neighborhood is very quiet, so good sleep seems to be guaranteed.There is wifi and the manager said it will get even better in the future. On the 2nd floor there is a terrace with restaurant, much space and nice view - a totally suitable remote working option. Food is said to be good and the chef flexible. There is also one more level, a rooftop with even better view.

The Hostel is perfect.Cool owner nice vibe and a beautiful Rooftop.

Its at Kefa a hotel, Good food and in the heart of Mikocheni B. Ample parking and government is widening the road so transport will soon be more convient

A nice and welcoming place with reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had quite a few meals there and it was always a nice surprise (look out for pizza and lasagna nights). Definetly a place to keep in mind when visiting Dar es Salaam.

I stayed with my family for over a month and a half at the turn of the holiday season.The structure is very quiet at all hours of the day, the rooms of various sizes are clean and basic. The staff is the real highlight! From the director to the maintenance of the rooms, you always have the utmost courtesy and willingness to solve the daily problems of tourists, not to mention the surveillance / maintenance staff, always being advised for the best. An experience to do that enriches the spirit and above all the soul ... Nitakuona hivi karibuni😉.

Hostel managed by the Cefa organization. Simple rooms with single beds, equipped with fans and air conditioning (sometimes not working).Clean and well managed facility.The restaurant is on the terrace from which you can admire beautiful sunsets.Good food.

The staff are friendly and the rice is delicious. However, the cleanliness is not so good or bad. There is a rooftop Mexican restaurant on the roof. There is a washing machine, so you can wash your clothes.

The view from the terrace is really nice.When the sun rises in the morning, when the wind blows in the evening, its all good.The whole view of Dar es Salaam from the rooftop is open to mind.Mexican food on the terrace is also delicious.There is a food with nachos and it was the most delicious.Whats a bit uncomfortable is that the water doesnt come out well when you shower.Something seems to be pouring water while putting it in the puchucha auchuotch, but it feels like the body doesnt wash anything...Apart from that, I am grateful that I can stay this much at an affordable price.+ Since then, Ive stayed in the other room twice, and the water came out well in the other two! :) The first room I stayed in wasnt water well!
