Once in a while just make time to visit this place, help the needy. there are those who have no hope for tomorrow, some don’t know how their medical bills will be cleared. bring with you some few things like bars of soap, tooth pastes, mafuta ya kupaka.. ama hata empty handed and just pray for them that God would intervene. they need thatps: wasiliana na uongozi wa hospital kabla hujaenda kujua abcs

The service is poor. They need to upgrade the service. One goes with a patient instead of helping, one is sent from one place to another without any help. A hospital should be once you are there, they should take the patient off your hand. But At ORCi you have to keep running around for tests... Results.. Payments.. And what nots. 😟

I worked at this hospital every weekend for a year. They have preserved the old heritage which is rare. It lacks in terms of diagnostic and treatment. But at least the living conditions are a bit better.

Ocean road cancer institute is an institute at dar es salaam for cancer treament and also for radiation therapists and radiographers studies ...the place is close to the indian ocean so there is a cool breeze and its cool and the buildings are soo good ....the treatment is good though its not that advanced like other developed nations but its advancing and it provides best treatment so far in Tanzania.

ORCI is the only comprehensive referral oncology institute in the country offering advanced diagnostics and treatment (both chemotherapy and radiotherapy) and houses the only functioning LINAC machines in the country at the time of this writing. It is hoped and planned that this beautiful historic building over the next few decades will grow to be one of the top oncology institutes in the East Africa.
