It was great. Service is cool. Ask for Jamila. I found the menu too limited especially because my stay was considerably long. We were however introduced to the chef, and he was happy to whip us customized plates, off the menu. Nice ambience. It was awesome.

Southern Sun Dar Es Salaam restaurant which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The seafood is amazing and it is value for money. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Found myself drinking this Dawa tea by the pool.. Which I enjoyed.

Close proximity to the German/Dutch embassy. Air-conditioned and comfortable. Friendly staff. The menu isnt too exciting and they dont always have everything thats on it. Only three points though for exorbitant prices (1/2chicken and a juice 37,500/-) and the noisy atmosphere in the restaurant. You get all the kitchen smells too.

Great place at the Southern Sun Hotel. Located at the Central Business District of Dar es Salaam and excellent amenities. Serves great food, world class chefs do the cooking and very hospitable staff.

Gorgeous views...gorgeous food.... Enjoyed a leisurely breakfast with my family. Chefs were very understanding with all the picky kids....
