Good BrunchHowever there was no chocolate mousse or chocolate souffle this time so missed it a lot in the desserts section... esp as the first brunch of the new year one looks forward to a bit of chocolate to spice up the celebrations.The place was full of course and as one would have expected it to be. However one area that could certainly improve was the fact that till about 1 pm the grills & dimsum section wasnt ready. So we had to hang around with salads and soups till everything else kind of came online. Would rather suggest to open up the seating at a time when the spread is all set and ready to go.Loved the shawarma it was very succulent and delicious. That was surely worth the wait.

Used to come here to have lunch.howevee after coming many times their service just went down the drain.I came with guests ,and got the horrible service this country is known for .They made us wait with kids for such a long time ,then sent us the diminutive manager to tell us to go wait outside without even a please..

In the beginning waitress asked my room number, because their restaurant only for members, but she allowed us to stay. Very generous gesture from their side.Milkshake for 5$ its just glass of milk mixed with syrup. Beef stroganoff was good though. In the end waitress couldnt use PDQ machine properly, she used card upside down. And in the end they brought invoice without drinks but charged full amount.

The breakfast was five star quality along with fresh produce in all dishes served. The staff were well groomed and were prompt to service. It was a great morning to start my holiday in Dar-es-Salaam! Thank you so much.

Good services

Found very unprofessional waitresses. Hyatt Regency should have done better when choosing who to employ. Otherwise the choices on the starters were better than the main dish and dessert. The cream caramel on the dessert was awful. My vote of Ok goes for the starters exclusively.

Lovely setting, gracious hosts and best of all, the delicious desserts! All dishes were wonderful, varied, and flavorful. Stunning fine dining, excellent meal and service. Great job Nicolas! Highly recommended.

Came here to celebrate mothers day with my mom and the rest of the family, and this place turned out to be a rip off. Not only was the price per person $75 for the buffet, they also charged our nanny who came just to look after my 1 year old sister and did not have a single bite to eat. We asked if they could at least charge us only half-price, but our request wasnt met. Given the luxurious price, we expected management to make the humble sacrifice, but we were left disappointed.

We being to The Palms several time and we have to says, every time everything is absolutely perfect, exceeding our expectation, fresh food, good wine and excellent service, plus the personal touch of the new Manager Nicolas which make sure your dinner will be special and memorable. This mix of ingredient make defenatly The Palm Brasserie my favorite restaurant in Dar!

This place always amazes me especially on fridays, it blows my expectations out of the water by the live band and the buffet! Customer service is top notch and its very cozy all around!!!!

Its a very classic place where you can enjoy your food with friends and family, kids enjoy to be here as there are facilities to help parents to monitor their kids while they still both enjoy their breakfast, lunch or dinner.
