Crossing was easy and smooth. Three ferries were all working making good time. Unfortunately one is prohibited from taking photos- this seems incomprehensible as there is no such prohibition on ferry services to Zanzibar. Perhaps the authorities will review the position in this day and age of social media and tourism
The services provided at the office are of high quality and excellent to the maximum. And it makes sure that every citizen gets his/her ticket without any contradictions and without any favours for either high standard living people or low standard living people. All citizen gets equal services in a friendly environment.
It is a public ticket. Very efficient in terms of dispensing ticket. The main challenge is network for validation of tickets. Sometimes you might find only few outlet are working hence causing unnecessary queue.
Despite all the horror stories others have posted. My experience went smoothly. Definitely get the VIP ticket. It’s worth the extra $15!
Modifications are being made, which will lead to improved services soon. Many scanning machines have been installed, soon as they start to work, it will save time for passengers.
Waiting area with sitting place. Crowded especially in the evening. There is a store inside selling soft drinks and snacks. No public toilet within Waiting area.
Can be better. Extremely disorganised and unfortunately, no foreseeable plans to get the services better.
The procedures are easy if you need to cross to Kigamboni. You will pay only Tsh 200 which is like 0.086 United States Dollar. If you like Fish, At Ferry areas you will find fresh and fried fish at very reasonable prices. Subscribe to my Youtube Channel (EDFIXER) to learn more about Dar Es Salaam/Tanzania 🇹🇿
We waited in the que for the tickets not even 5 minutes. Processing is done fast and professional. Going to Kigamboni the Ferry was crowded but we still found a seat. Going back was even better. On the Ferry you can buy snacks like peanuts or chocolate, toys, ice cream. The price was 200 tzs which is just incredible 0,08€. I have no pictures to show because its not permitted, dont even try
First of all taking picture is not allowed there, mostly at least 1000 person exist in one place waiting for moving to other side.It is economic and can save you about half an hour then going through bridge.
Buy nida card for pqying tickets to long queues when paying cash to buy tickets... it sometimes gets crowded and sometimes waste more time waiting for the boats.
Very fine but I think they should advance there services
There is a crowd of people here and the service are just slow. Its cheap but its boring. You cant take any pictures they do not allow you to take a pictures
Nice, fast service with three boats. They use electronic cards if you stay longer in Dar Es Salaam.
This place is a little bit busy.So it better if you are using N_CARD
They work 24/7 and service is still good.
There is no proper arrangements of getting tickets we are waiting for more than 3min juss for tickets. Also the resting areas they should build more resting seating
Was very nice people working very hard. Very happy with my people. Very proud of🤣🤣🤣🤣🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🦚🦚🦚🦚🦚
I think it improved well and still on process to be improved more ....this is very interesting and helpful
There is a new ticketing system which was rather sufficient
I have been to the Ferry Ticket Office a couple of times, and I think activities go smoothly in the area. Despite the large crowd of people waiting to board the Ferry, the whole process of issuing tickets seems to go at an optimum pace. I have never seen a long, slow queue—at least not during the times Ive been there. In that aspect alone, I think Im impressed. However, theres room for improvement in other areas; for instance, the area is not very clean at times. The scent also gets pungent—which is inevitable due to the Fish Market around the area.Overall, Kigamboni is a nice place. Theres just so much to explore. It has an economically diverse population, which I think can teach us a lot about life. Whether youd use a Ferry or the Kigamboni bridge, Kigamboni is the home to adventures.
High congestion during the morning and evening but you will enjoy the service in mid of the day
It is good place and ferry service well organized though morning hours and evening hours has a lot of jam
Nice service, affordable and u get to see a beautiful view on the way.
If you want to access Kigamboni region through ferry, this is the place to have your ticket for using public ferry to the other side of Dar es salaam, at this date of 08th Nov 2021 ticket cost is 200Tsh per adult person.
You will need NCard to pay digitally to the authority, its more advanced with lot of space that before
It was awesome, I didnt know how to unlock the pass-gate but they helped me🥰🤌🤌🤌
Its good, but its kinda slow in rush hours especially when scanning the tickets, but its fine
Crowded too much and people dont switch off their engines during ferry ride it is unhealthy they need to patrol while moving
Ticket cost 200 Tsh only and during this pandemic they insure that everyone wear mask before engaging with other passengersAlso they add another big space for passengers to sit while wait for a panton
The waiting time is unbearable but other than that I had a great experience.
Ferry tickets office is good because they provide good service. They provide service for more than 15 hours.
It was not so bad though there were many people but everything went ok
Its almost always queued up, hot but its okay
The ever best ticket selling place with affordable prices
Nice place for care and treatment. With good investigation
Needs improvement to ensure there are no long queues. Separation / barriers to separate those queueing for ticketing and those with cards.
It depends on the time other day so bored 😴 but someday cool and good service
Affordable transport to Kigamboni and you get to see the beauty of Dar es salaam from this side
The use of cards has simplified payments for many users and it saves a lot of time.
I reach any places I want because of G map
I like the new building at kigamboni side. Its bigger than the first one. Cant wait for it to be opened.
Service good but often crowded
Ticket is 200 tshs. They are switching to a card system now.
Their app of spraying money is poor on working they have to make it to become first
For the sea transportation from magogoni to kigamboniAlso for faster way of reaching city center
Its place where water transport a available from posta kivukoni to kigamoni 24hr transportation services are available
Very easy to go and get your ferry ticket
I Suggest improvement for trips at night hours.
Well arranged but little management
Very slow and populated especially morning and evening
Waiting area is too small and few sitting places
This is an entry point where all crossing to the city centre must buy their tickets. Another hall has been developed with an automated gates on card swipe. On 28th February all tickets will be suspended replaced by prepaid N-Cards.
They just need to correct the machines to allow easy pax movement at the gates
No combined tickets for transportation & passengers. Separate tickets need to be taken. Secondly you have to walk some distance while boarding and alighting as you are not allowed to sit in your vehicle even after taking separate tickets.
Its an ok Ferry just too much congested, alot of people and no Covid Regulation considered !
Fish market, water transport to border from kigamboni to Ilala municipal council and some businesses
Perfect but it takes so long time sometimes
Nice place with a good view, wind blow cue
Got my ticket fast..... The service is awesome....
Poor service in terms of handling traffic jam to enter the panton
Its a public ferry, you only have to pay Tsh 200 from and to each side... They really have to control the number of customers in the waiting lounge...
Cool waters make more attractive place
Abit crowd and slow for those without cards during rush hours.
They offer transport services from Magogoni to Kigamboni
If you want to go have fan at Kigamboni this is the shortcat path to Kigamboni
Viewing Dar and the beach makes a stun but the waiting lounge for the ferry is always full
Great customer care, and efficient transportation
Slightly over packed and its cleanliness is not as per pa
New N card system makes life easy
The N card is a must for every single person n not otherwise. One more thing during rush hours ie morning n nights when people r going back home from work a single Kivuko aint enough... In relation to covd 19 situation
I visited today, and all my most daily routine transfer on kigambon feri. The services is good at all, they continue to use paper tickets and N-card for scanning
Slow process causing traffic of passengers, needs improvements
Daresalaam special ferry to another side of town kigamboni
With N-CARD it makes easy to buy the ticket.
The area is always crowded, no sufficient seating spaces, no timely ferry crossing
Nice services offered. The only problem is over crowding
Kivukoni Fery always high populated with lots of traffic jump.
Ferry is good but went on a rainy day
Worst management ever. We spent hours before crossing. No Disable lanes.
Fast service with such hospitality
They provide good service
Good, but there are some few challenges
Much improvement needed especially speed up process
Was good... could make a good use of further renovations to accommodate more people at a time
They upgraded services by add card bank payment
It is a nice place, good service
My experience in nice I have enjoyed their services .....they are fast accurate and caring
Services are good though there is high concentration of people
Get your N card to avoid long queues.
