I must recommend the cheesy fries, bbq wings, lava cake, chocolate milkshake and lemon mojito.They close late which is a bonus.All the items I’ve tried are delicious, generous portion sizes.Great for groups, great for kids

Worst experience ever, I waited for more than 1 hour just for a mint and lemon slush after 40 min the cashier comes and says the ice is finish and after 15 min its coming again, I just nodded to him and said okay no problem wondering why wouldnt they just told me from beginning that they dont have ice it will take 1 hour just for the slush. I wouldnt recommend this place and will never ever come to this place in my whole lifetime and would recommend others also to do the same.

A great place to be. Aesthetically top notch. Appealing, serene. The foods are at a very fair price and the menu is informative. A great place for dining with friends or partner.

Its a very nice cafe having nice list of menu. The problem is waiter. You can stay more than 10minutes withit them approaching and you see them standing somewhere having unnecessary conversations.. and if they come they are not polite enough. Also never never never order delivery from them. I experienced very bad looking and seems like they were made a day before. Also I heard and saw from several platforms people complaining about their delivery. Its either late, or very bad thing will be delivered... or both! And the owner will not do anything even if you complain.

Dont ever bother with delivery! A pure dissapointment! They will not only send the order late but also incomplete!!!!!Fun fact: they will promise 15 minutes and take more than an hour to deliver a incomplete order in Upanga!!!!! Their competence is commendable 😏

The desserts are fairly good but the food was disappointing - both the crispy chicken and the chicken fillet were subpar. Both the salads we ordered were also just average. Given it’s a newer branch in a neighborhood with an increasing number of restaurants and dessert spots, here’s hoping they improve their food over time.

The waiter was either deaf or looked bored to death.He gave only one menu while there were 2 guests.A cat was harassing us all but waiter did almost nothing to make us feel comfortable .Wooden chairs felt like a 1000 hells.

Its sooo fresh and very flavorful and you can order extra cheese people!!! Ah! Well definitely coming back a third time because this place has my heart now.

One of the best place for desserts. Visited here for a late dinner as it was recommended by a friend and I wasnt disappointed. They have nice and yummy meals as they range from Salads to burgers and different desserts. They have good atmosphere and availability of free Wi-Fi. I had the chicken burger which its meat was fried, and honestly- you cant compare to other fried burgers from different restaurants. Also I had a milkshake which has always given me another reason to go back. The Management is friendly as well as the customer service is up to its standard. I promise you if you go there, you wont be disappointed.

The staff were all very unhelpful, I was there with my mother (62 F) and I asked which way is the bathroom as we both needed to go, one member of the staff (m) showed us to the askaris toilet at the gate and I was appalled at this treatment as a paying customer, so of course I got upset at the staff and another member eventually showed us to the washrooms on the first floor, overall poor treatment,The only good thing about Taste Me is the food

***This is a review for Taste Me in Mikocheni Plaza***Visited this place recently. Nice seating areas, indoor (with AC) and outdoor. Quite a variety of dessert choices. The staff I interacted with was polite, friendly, and attentive. English was also spoken very well.The only ice cream flavor is vanilla. This can be dressed with strawberry, chocolate, and caramel syrup. The only topping for the ice cream is crushed cashew nuts. Three are other toppings for other desserts.I ordered red velvet cake, it was not red velvet. It was just a red sponge cake, fairly on the dry side. I may return but with better expectations.

The space is small, loud esp when the coffee maker is on you cant hear the other person youre on a date with. The coffee maker is ALWAYS on. The prices are okay, the service is okay. My advice is put the coffee maker at the back...

Tatse me caters to all taste buds from sweet and savory to tangy and spicy.Their menu has a large variety. Their service is great. The servers and manager at the upanga branch are great.Plenty of parking space.The cafe itself is quite small but ideal for short dates.Kudos to the team for their great service

I loved this place. But on Friday I was very disappointed and they dont know how to do service recovery. I inform them I have a lunch meeting and will take the famous tea while I wait for my guest. 5 min later the waitress says we dont have the tea its finished and takes 3 hours to prepare..... Seriously then I order coffee she come back after 10 min and says we need to move you outside as we are closing for prayers. They expect the guest to sit in the heat of 36° for an hour or so.... I ask them what about my guests how do we order thier food. They say they cant. Ridiculous honestly. You should inform the customer prior to ordering or keep a board outside. Very sad. They lost me as a customer

Very poor service. 15mins sat without being served and v rude waiters. Food was mediocre. Waffles tasted like toasted bread, coffee was like warm water and pancakes maple syrup tasted like heated honey. Overall very poor and will not recommend.

The café has a beautiful setting with nice safe parking but i wasnt too impressed with the pancakes, sausage waffle and ice cream. The chocolate cake was quite good also.

Foods good and excellent desert

They have the best fried ice creams, my favorites are strawberry and chocolate flavors. They also have a wide variety of dessert options; shakes, cakes, and you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the place as they have fast foods too including burgers, wraps, etc. A place to go if you have a sweet tooth. Also its a good place for small parties eg; birthday parties and other small gatherings. They have two branches in Dar this one at Upanga and the other one is at Dar Free Market with same menus.

Well... first time there today... had an awesome sundae... plus I was with friends... so we liked all liked what we ordered.. if you want good ice cream... cant go wrong

Its a great place for people with sweet tooth. The menu is full of desserts of every kind. They also offer wraps for those whod like to go umami. They offer a good indoor and outdoor seating and have a mini park for kids in the back side.

Theyve the best shakes

It was too good, waiter was great, all the waiters surprised us with awesome bday song. Food was very tastey. Steak was yummmm, clean area, only needs a sink for washing hands etc on the outside. But service was too good.

Food as well as service was great - all items were very tasty and well presented. Would have given 5 star if it was not for the flies around the area. Keeping the area clean and well fumigated would definitely make a difference

The desert options are good but I didnt have a good experience with the food. The steak was overcooked and the chicken was very small compared to the price. The food menu isnt wow. There are better restaurants for value for money. New Deserts and Ice Cream spot in Dar Es Salaam City center. Recently its been Loved by many central Dar Es Salaam Residents! A place to visit for All those with a sweet tooth!

Tried the molten lava, mocachino and cappuccino here and all of those are up to the mark. Have yet to taste more from their menu in the near future and without a doubt Im going back!
