DO NOT USE THEM, unless you are not in a hurry.I sent my documents on Saturday 27th March, I was told at the counter that the documents would be in Nairobi on Monday. I asked them are they sure the documents would reach by Monday 29th March and the answer was YES 100%.My documents have not yet reached the destination and when i called on Monday they had not yet departed Dar es Salaam, after calling multiple times they shipped the documents today (Tuesday 30th March).Additionally the attendants are not efficient at all, there were 3 attendants but all the rest seemed busy doing other things, i had to wait 1hr just to drop the documents.I would seriously urge anyone using them to please consider other options, or if you are delivering within Tanzania, the buses may be more reliable. Utter disappointment!!

Their customer care/support on phone calls is good, they pick up on the spot, and are nice... but generally the courier service is poor. Packages arrive in the country as expected, but from then on... clearing takes ages, delivery takes even longer. They tell you they will deliver today, expect it 3 days later.

DHL gives a good service to send and receive safely, not only things also money. The people that are working in this office is very kind and help you in all your needs, also the phone service.One thing to improve its the internet service.

I have been disappointed with services provided. My parcel leaves on 15th April from Dubai. The tracking on dhl shows to be delivered by 22nd April. It is 27th April and i have not got it yet. This is despite calling almost 5 times and after paying for clearance on time.And when the status gotupdated it showed to be delivered. Just now i am getting a msg that delivery failed as consignee premises closed while i am at home. Dissappointed !!!

I wouldnt advise you to use DHL for important documents unless you are fine if they get damaged. I shipped with with them my academic documents they came back damaged with water and official signs and stamps were ruined. To me that is a negligence in handling customers important documents. And they havent even owned up to their mistake which is now costing me. every time I call am being told I would get a call back and its a week now.

I feel ashamed to be a German. Nothing but delays and excuses. No service at all. If I can avoid to use them I use FedEx or even EMS . There is nothing but trouble with DHL in Dar es Salaam. They promise to call back but never do so. They keep the goods in the store and never tell us that goods has arrived. Than asking for money for storage. This has happened MANY times. I can not recommend DHL in Dar es Salaam.
