It’s ok to visit if you’re local but I wouldn’t go out of my way for this beach if I lived a bit further away.The spot I went to was nothing special, too many rocks, not enough soft sand. The land is now owned by the army apparently so you have to pass through an army checkpoint and enter your details before proceeding.The part of Mbweni beach that I visited was called Ndege. It was quiet and at least the sun was out and the water was clear.
