Loved the idea of this place but called and could not get a rental. Said they would call back but never did. Not sure if they’re still operating

Our hostel recommended us to take a cycling tour through dar es salaam with ujamaa bike. We had a lot of fun as they took us through the more safe & quiet neighborhoods. The cycling tour itself was for free but we donated to support their great idea to donate bikes to girls who need to travel long distances to school. Keep up the good work Alex & staff.

As the year began I wanted to acquire a new skill, I have never ridden a bike before and was scared 😱 but at I jamaa I managed to accomplish my target of a new skill in only one day,it was like a miracle seeing my self on the road with cars on the third day 😍. Thank you so much to UJAMAA that I call myself a cyclist now 😜. It is worth your time. Keep it up Alex 👏👍

The teachers are so friendly and encouraging, they make your learning process so easy and fun.. I could ride after only 3 days. I really loved my experience with Ujamaa bike 💪

All I can say is WOW! I did not expect to ride a bike in 3 lessons but with Ujamaa bike I did it in One. Thanks so much Alex and Ashraf for teaching me how to ride a bicycle.

It took me months to teach my three kids how to ride, and it was all in vain. I just realise I was the glitch in the process. Within three days with Ujamaa bike, they are all happy riding. Now they need practice. I hope I can do that 🤓. Thanks Ujamaa Bikes

I really like the idea as we all know not every one can afford to have a bike at home. But here you come and get the bike for free. It is a good call too for supporting young girls to access education
