My overall favorite cafe. Id always come here for cakes. They offer one of, if not the best, pastry selections in Dar. ALL of them are tasty. Food quality is satisfactory with many options. As for ambience, it varies depending on when you come. Its a popular spot, so it can be packed during usual dining hours. Still, do come here for pastries. You wont regret it.

I liked the atmosphere a lot and they had a decent selection of pastries which is what I was after and they tasted really good.. My husband got an egg breakfast meal and said it was nothing special. Price and portion size couldve been better on that meal. Service was a little slow but we werent in a hurry so it was fine.

Very good coffee, the food tastes great, the staff is nice and working professional, the location is comfortable and nice, wifi is working good and the price is OK, not cheap, but also not tooo expensive. You get a burger including fries, which is not everywhere like this for that price. And I was so happy to finally eat a delicious pain au chocolat, which I missed so much. Photo comes next time. We went 4 times and have been always happy at the end.

Love their mocha frappe and cheesecake!!!! The ambience is wonderful and staff are well trained...Good value for money, decent portions and bonus points for ample parking!!!! Would have given five stars had it not been for the wait time for dine in which in my experience has been quite long on more than one occasion... But defo a regular spot for me and would strongly recommend this place.

Food is amazing here any day of the week.We have been eating Bufallo chicken pizza always and the taste is consistantly good always. I also had fresh orange juice. Blueberry cheese cake was delicious too

A place to relax,food are great.Eg:waffle、blueberry cheese cake and one starter name beef slighter?!(might be wrong name).There are best iced latte in masaki which one you can not miss.Pizza and pasta also nice.This shop is so popular,sometimes can not find seat.And it”s bad for health to stay closely for each seat during Covid-19

I had the strawberry cheese cake and a caramel shake or something, whatever it was, amazing. Really enjoyed the dishes as well as the ambience. Staff are friendly, they give good advice on what to order for people who fuss like me 🥴A friend ordered a Belgian chocolate cheese cake as well. It was creamy, rich and delish. Their prices are also decent and at par with the market.All in all satisfied.

This place is good for some meet ups and coffee but if you need some quite time it’s not that perfect love their buffalo sauce burger and natural juice. I recommend it especially for lunch

Probably best cafe in Dar! Dessert are what they are known for but try their pasta and burgers. Wont go wrong. Their low fat iced vanilla blonde latte is better then Starbucks! Ambiance is sleek and modern.Service is great!

Orchid is servicing nice coffee and beverages. I like my flat white the portion of espresso and milk. They are using good coffee beans and the barista is doing a nice job.Dessert i preferred cheese cakes either blueberry/ Belgium chocolate cheesecake.I have not yet tried other than cheesecake.Usually we would like to order salad, pizza and pasta. I like their hot and delicious food it’s worth waiting.I prefer seats on high table as the sofa are too soft will have to move a lot when you are having food and drinks.It’s a cafe with nice food, nice coffee good location for parking easy to go. The service attitudes is fair probably becoz they don’t need to push sales by providing better customer service.

Definitely my favorite Cafe in Dar!!! Can’t stop going there I absolutely love it! Great customer service, good food, decent drinks and a super chill and friendly environment! I’d also like to argue that they have the best cakes in Dar! If you go there you must try their choco fudge cake and if you’re a coffee lover their mocha frappe! Their Alfredo pasta is soo good too!

Very peaceful environment.... The staff were friendly and joyful that is a positive message that the staff are treated well by the management.As for the Nuttella Milkshake I had with the Blueberry cheese cake it was mouth watering.

Orchid is a nice new addition to the café scene in Dar. I normally cone here for brunch with my husband after church. Excellent French toast, waffles. They have an amazing salted caramel milkshake. Their margherita pizza is affordable and tasty. I recommend this place. Its worth it.

Ordered a cappuccino, sirloin steak, cheesecake & fresh passion juice.The steak was average at best if not below. I ordered a medium rare steak and it was very chewy, the quality of the cut was not great and the fat was not rendered properly. The peppercorn sauce and mash alongside were pointlessly well made.The strawberry flavour on the cheesecake was nothing but artificial and extremely sweet.The fresh passion fruit juice and cappuccino were perfect.For the amount of hype this place has generated, I was quite disappointed. Hopefully my next experience will be much more positive.

Cosy, casual, minimalist new café in Dar.Very spacious and laid back vibe which is always nice. The background music was mostly mainstream International pop when I went but at a non-intrusive volume.You must try the blueberry and belgian chocolate cheesecakes!!!I also recommend any of the smoothies, great flavour and consistency.Their food, even appetizers/smaller plates come in good portions and are reasonably priced.Definitely worth passing by.

Enjoyed my lunch here very much. Food was good, prices very reasonable, and wonderful service. I got the chicken pesto sandwich; pesto tasted homemade and grilled veggies with sundried tomatoes were nice additions. The juice was very fresh! Will go back again.

Went here on monday night, the place was very cozy and quiet and there were quite a few people there... Beautiful artwork and design on the walls! Comfy seats, and clean place overall.The staff were pretty attentive.We ordered the blueberry cheesecake, mocha frappe and iced mocha, everything we ordered were DELICIOUS!It reminds me of the taste of my home (philippines)I would definitely come back!

Spacious cafe, where you can relax, get some work done, and have good food. The mood is abit, i dont want to say gloomy, but low, maybe its the dark colors, but overall great place. The pumpkin spiced iced Americano was great!Been here a couple times in the past few days.Very nice interior, good service, and the cakes look decent.We were supposed to eat dinner there a few nights ago BUT didnt, as I am currently on a strict cutting phase and there was nothing grilled/healthy on the menu that we could eat.BUT, had a great coffee there instead!

My favorite café in Dar. As soon as I walk in, I feel like I’m in Chicago, or Denver, USA. It’s just such a nice and upscale spot, you never wanna leave. I can say the same about the food. My faves are: French toast, teriyaki chicken, mushroom pasta, Hawaiian pizza, and the espresso drinks. The staff and management are just lovely. A must-visit if you’re in Dar.

Orchid is one of out go to breakfast spots post surf. The food is always great and the staff super friendly and helpful. They have one of the best pizzas in town (Greek mama). Definitely worth a visit.

This might be one of my favourite go-to places for impromptu meals. The food is affordably priced and tastes delightful! I keep ordering the Chicken & Mushroom pasta with their extra spicy chilli sauce, but Ive eyed other peoples dishes and they look just as amazing! I LOVE their caramel frappe, and their desserts are on point! I appreciate the speedy service, very professional.

I enjoy my visits here! The staff are really nice and the food is good. For breakfast, the french toast is tasty and for other meals, the greek pizza, sandwiches and soups are good options. Food is great and wonderful. And great service inside the cafe. But a disappointment on how the guards do not know how to speak with people. I often go to orchid either for business lunch or breakfast or personal. After having breakfast today, I went to my car and was inside with my wife and we were having a conversation, a guard came up and was on my windshield peaking inside. Where I rolled down the window and he said Im not allowed to sit in the car at the parking and he had the audacity to say that if I want so spend time with my wife I should find a hotel. During our back and fort, my wife asked me to just go and let him be. I would say this, I might not be a customer who adds much value but I feel this is the last time I will ever visit orchid cafe.

Perfect place for a quick meeting, a cup of coffee.They know how to make good coffee here.They also sell alcohol but its not on the menu. Ask the waiter of what they have.

Yeah I enjoyed it here because it has a rare quality in this town: consistency. I havent had a bad meal here yet. The entire vibe is plush and the staff are very suave with the service.And theyre keen on feedback too, which is nice: I once commented that the music selection made me want to claw out my ears. It was Ed Sheeran and the usual garbage on a five minute loop. Every. Five. Minutes.Theyve since gotten tasteful with the playlists (Lo-Fi is great, feels upscale) and now I cant fault a single thing. Its quite perfect really. See you again.

Its a good place for meetings or taking a laptop to work but also works well for lunch with friends etc. The evening ambience could be improved - it feels a bit sterile and not very lively. The food is noticeably better than other similar cafes in Dar. Over three visits Ive had a burger, steak wrap, eggs benedict, iced cappuccino and passion fruit juice. All were very good. The eggs, burger and steak were not overcooked and tasted great. The staff are very friendly and helpful, although it would be good if they were trained more on details of the menu so they are better equipped to answer questions. Definitely somewhere Id visit again.
