Great ambience, polite wait staff, clean, reasonably quiet if youd like to work from the Cafe on a weekday. Food could be said to be average, nothing fancy there. Theres no free parking and municipal parking charges apply. Theres WiFi but I didnt ask for the password and thus cannot comment on speed etc. It was not too crowded which was a plus. It would be a 5 star rating if the food matched pricing, I felt the food was average for the pricing but if youre not there for food, great cafe to chill. Would definitely be back.

One of the best coffee ☕ shops in Dar Es Salaam.Theyre reasonably priced, delicious coffee and cakes.I would recommend this restaurant over any other around Masaki area.

I went in during a weekday with very few people and i loved it .The atmosphere and environment was super cosy.The staff know what there doing and do it very professional. I ordered an iced frost latte and it was the best I had in Tanzania yet. I will definitely go back again. Kudos

Best coffee shop to work from in Dar Es Salaam. Great WiFi, great food, lovely ambience and interior.If theres any room for improvement, it would be that the staff (waitresses in particular) can be a bit more friendly. I sometimes felt they could not be bothered to serve me or would roll their eyes at me. My impression was that they dont like people working from the coffee shop all day but I could be wrong. Despite this, I would recommend.

Coffee was great, had a really nice strong flavor. Food was good as well, but took a bit longer than I thought to come out. Staff is nice and the aesthetic is great. Would def come again!

We had cappuccino and late and both drinks were very good. The eggspect the best omelet was big and tasty! The steak and eggs (wake up and meat) was delicious! Passion fruit juice was very fresh too. Overall everything was great. Totally recommended.

The coffees and juices were phenomenal, the food was a bit of a let down but OK. Will definitely go back. Great spot to chill and chat and enjoy good drinks!The atmosphere, drinks, decor, cutlery and service are all pretty great, great seating, creative menue, fresh ideas. The foods not perfect but Id definitely go back again.The manager came around and checked on everything too which is great to see.Love the fact that there is filtered water, you go ❤️Food wise we had the munch and crunch salad which was just lettuce and sliced apple but was good, the avo and hummus toast was also pretty good, its hard to find good bread here I think which is a let down, however the prawn dish was super dry and over cooked unfortunately. Still nice ideas and different from so many places in dar, intrigued to try more of the menu.

Its a nice place to hang out, it looks like a cozy environment when I arrived, and I was not disappointed. The staffs are attentive and friendly too.I only had coffee, and I was happy; my coffee fix was covered for the day.

Portions are weird! The service is mediocre as we did have to wait about 40 minutes for a fruit salad. the ambiance is really amazing and you do get free WiFi but they’re portions are not just small but not consistent. Especially with the prawns. My table ordered the same thing and it was visibly different portion between my plate and my sisters. Food tastes good, just wish they weren’t so stingy.

As a kadak chai lover of Bean there cafe. Usually pay more visit during lunch time with that coconut chicken rice meal/ Thai basil chicken with rice/ stir fry beef with rice.The kadak chai is our all time favorite.They used to have pasta provided but then change to only penne. My friend who loves spaghetti is always disappointed becoz Bean there no longer serve spaghetti but only penne.I once tried the steak but it’s quite over cooked so I recommend for light food/ Asian/Indian fusion food.The cake is fair I will prefer more on warm food.

The overall service was good. They don’t take long to make the food and bring out everyone’s food at once. The staff are also really friendly. The only downside for me is that I prefer quiet places and there was a lot of people.

Excellent service, waiters are able to communicate in English, Wi-Fi is good (get a code from the waiter), this is really a first-world bubble in a third-world context, decent aircon. Our food was good and the tropical smoothie was divine! Good place to sit and work for the day, quite populated with cosmopolitan mix with their laptops and business partners.

Was asked by the manager to move from my table for other customers simply because I was alone. Could she have done this to a foreigner?, I wonder loudly. I will definitely NEVER go back there or recommend it to anyone. I felt not valued and disrespected as a customer. I told her I will not come to the restaurant again, she didn’t seem to care.

Excellent cafe! Lovely staff and the food is well priced for Masaki and always fresh. The coffee is not very strong, but still flavorful and delicious. The atmosphere is nice and the layout has a play area for kids so it feels cozy yet lively. The serving staff is amazing and so friendly, and the owners are always checking in to see if theres anything they can do for you!My only issue is with seating. Myself and a friend have come for food and drinks and on separate occasions been asked to move to a different table to accommodate other groups waiting. That isnt a problem, but they ask us instead of people with a single empty coffee and a laptop that have been there for hours. Please choose to designate one of the high large tables for laptop users, because when you move us it ruins our meals (and we buy full meals!) and makes us feel like we are less important than people on laptops that dont purchase food.

Not only the first place in Dar to accept the no plastic rule ... I think it was the best thing I have heard since the no plastic bag rule ! You have the choice of ordering free filtered water instead of buying plastic water bottles ! Truly we are harming our environment. Also straws are made out of steel.. well done !Anyway having said that the ambience is nice and the food was awesome ! The portions were Perfect and the manager is so keen to hear all the reviews so that they can work on any teething problems they seem to have ... I would definitely come back here again and I think the timings are so good so am Going back for an early breakfast very soon ! I would rate this 9 out of 10 ! Enjoyed my time here !
