More of a park than a botanical garden. Some nice specimens of trees. Nice shady spot to hang out, if it weren’t for the mosquitoes!

More of small park than a botanical garden if you want to sit and relax that’s your go to place but no botany is going on around there. Don’t get your hopes up too high.

As some of the previous reviews have said there’s not much botany here but there’s a lot of potential, it just needs some funding. I was probably a little generous with the 3 stars but there are some interesting trees and good for if you need some quiet time.

This garden has so much potential but it appears to have been neglected and not funded for years. Nonetheless its a nice for a quick stroll through or to sit and relax - its very quiet and peaceful.

This is a very good place for day out and observation for nature, unfortunately its not been taken care ,lots of trash, no public washrooms, no water for the visitors.

This is not Botanical Garden .This is National college of Tourism Tanzania . Good place to conduct conference , meetings .

This will feel more like a small park than a botanical garden. There’s no entrance fee, but the name is misleading so I would not recommend making a special trip for this. If you happen to be going to the National Museum, it doesn’t hurt to swing by and enjoy the greenery. The staff here was nice, and one of them took us for a brief tour, which was more helpful in understanding the trees around us (since we are not experts by any definition). However, when we gave him a small tip at the end he asked for more.

Its small but clean and maintained. There is a lovely old man ready to give you a tour, its not 8am here and he is working. Bless.

Good place for relaxing, greenish all over the place and best photo location for portrait session but security guys aren’t friendly they are so so harsh. They don’t give reliable information about the venue and restrictions. This is very disappointing for locals.

Quite a small place. There is the guy taking care of the place and gives a short tour and there are a few monkeys which may also be seen from outside as they go in and out of the garden. however place is a little neglected and the guy asks for money at the end !

Probably one of the worst botanical gardens I have ever visited. Good thing it was free.
