Cute bookstore with a good variety of books new and pre-owned. I thought prices were what you would expect at a new bookstore. Theres not much of a markup on the books. They had a great childrens section as well.

Loved the shop from the moment I saw it. Its chock full of books waiting to be read. Reading opens up new worlds and new possibilities for kids. Lets encourage them to be able to settle down and read on a daily basis for pleasure. One learns best when one is enjoying oneself.

It has a decent collection of books; regrettably there are not too many options in the city as such so it is pretty much a go to place for people staying in the vicinity.

Its by far the best library in the peninsula. Its kind of pricey, but they have some diversity and a really good customer service.

Bit overprized books but the only serious bookshop in Dar, with a good selection of Tanzanian and foreign stuff. Nice people running the place.

This is probably the best bookstore in town well stocked. Constantly updated and they order books for you too.

So i went in here not knowing what to expect and wow just to find my favourite authors (James Patterson) on the shelf, took two business development books with me too, the organisation, assistance from the desk lady, reasonable pricing....i could keep saying a lot about u guys, u deserve a six ✨ great work

Used to be one of my favourite bookstores but yesterday the staff were unfriendly, fiction section was a real mess and nothing new or exciting...

Books here are priced way higher than other stores. Unfriendly man at the counter. Neat presentation and ambiance though.

A well stocked bookshop located at Slipway which is a readers paradise. There are even reading spaces within and it accomodates family too.

I was reading a book here for a bit and the shop owner came up and asked if I was interested in buying the book or just reading. She said, excuse me, were not a library. Extremely poor service, especially for a place that has comfy seating. They should remove their seats if they dont want people reading in their bookstore. For a place with a lot of potential to be cozy, as another review has stated, they arent interested in their customers. I suppose its hard to invest in a clientele in a touristy spot, but as someone who will be living in Dar for the year, I sure wont be back.
