This place is so chill and relaxing. They keep the beach relatively clean which I appreciate. Good clean beaches can be hard to find in Dar es Salaam. Unfortunately the chef was sick when we were there so we couldnt taste any of the delicious food my husband was raving about. He swears they have the best fish 🤷🏾‍♀️. Better luck next time I guess.The workers were still nice they order us food from a local spot and plated it up for us. The only negative thing is some of the furniture cushions and chairs look like they got in a fight with a walrus. I suggest updating them with fresh upholstery and cleaning them daily. Otherwise it was well worth the drive. I didnt get to meet the management they were out of the country but I look forward to it and updating this post on my next visit.

A Jamaican style beach club on Dar Es Salaams waterfront. The place is run by a lovely couple with equally lovely staff. Cold drinks and good food all marinated in reggae music. Watch the fishermen bring in their catches from your boat-style lounge set. Better yet, have it prepared and eat it right away. It does not get any fresher than that. When you are around here you should definitely visit this place.

Nice place where you can see locals moving around doing their regular chores. You dont see many during the extreme hot hours, but once the sun starts calming down around 4 or 5 pm, you begin to see plenty of them walking around the beach for relaxation or selling small scale already cooked snacks such as boiled eggs, nuts, coffee , fruits, ice cream, fried fish and so on. Some of these sellers are very young kids 😢. It is also a place where local fishermen carry out their activities using these wooden boats (dhows).

Id call this place a hidden gem but it is well known due to positive online presence and various reviews.Its a good place to come and relax, enjoy the beach environment and reggae music.The food choice is always catch of the day with chips and salad as its located right where the fishermen bring their catch in.

A great place to relax for seafood and reggae lovers with a fish market within walking distance to Mahaba. As we were leaving we were lucky enough to catch a glimse of a crab as it was scouring away in the parking lot area which was a plus for us! The upholstery could do with abit of refurbishing though.

A wonderful restaurant and bar in a perfect beach front location. The seafood is incredible! If you like Lobster( honestly its not lobster, but very tasty xxl crab) then you wont be disappointed... They serv all kind of food, too. The owner and his wife are wonderful persons, so the bartender! The perfect experience of peaceful Tanzanian hang out.

Very nice retreat for a day relaxing away from the busy city. Nice personnel and good food. Al daily fresh fish and cold beers. Really recommended!

Excellent lunch but need to be ordered in advance. Vivid and busy village atmosphere on the beach. Campsite possible but simple ablution block and open sky shower.

Cool and nice place to chill though you got be used to cigarettes. The background music was good. I had a great time there: Deja Vu.

Expensive drinks, dirty beach, had to bring our own portable speakers wich eventually ran out of charge, the owners are very friendly though, nice scenery, ull enjoy if u have company.

This place is beautiful during sunset ,what make it more exciting is the fish market near by! Well served drinks of your choice .....enjoy

Easy going rustic, rugga place. Dont be in a rush for food or drink. It comes eventually at a bargain price, the meals are satisfactory.

Mahaba Beach is where I come home on the other end of the world. Its a place where you can find both tourists and locals because it does not matter where you are from, you know you are in a good place when you are.

Cleaner beach..than Coco Beach. You can get barbecue fish, fresh from local fishermen here!

Clean sandy beach, good food and drinks. Service can be a bit slow though at times... but the view makes up for it ;-)

I couldnt see much of a resort, but a very nice beach and one or two inviting beach restaurants.

Its incredibly peaceful and isolated from civilization yet close to the city. The food is just amazing.
