The ribs were too good. Extremely tender and juicy. No much spices and masalas making it a unique meaty taste. The meat quality is good but could be better. The chicken is also very tender. The bbq platter is enough for 2 people costing about 25,000 shs.

This place is a whole vibe, the service is on point, the food however, i think expectations were too high, but they came through with the Ribs for me, i dont recommend the butter garlic chicken ?! Sounds better than what u get. Try it for yourself, i think the fact that they only open on the weekend is what gives it the hype, but let me tell you, the hype to some degree, is real.

Chef Kile is one fine barbeque place in Dar. Order his mouth watering beef ribs. The beef mix has all the flavours but it was chewy when I had it. But still I give the food 4 stars!

It is a very nice place, ample parking space, open place where children also have a place to play during the day.Unfortunately, for my first day, my experience with food wasnt great, i had a T- bone steak meat that was still raw and smelly.Its either food wasnt kept well or nobody cared!! This should carefully be given an extra eye.

The wait is too long. Phoned the Order at 6p, food wasnt ready until 745p.They didnt have 3 of the entrees we wanted. Had to switch my order 3 times. 🤦🏽‍♀️ At the end, since it was an order for almost 10 people, I just tried what everyone else ordered.And.... The food was spectacular!Hands down! Salut to the Chef! 👌🏾

Hands down one of the best barbeque spots in the city. The open outdoor casual seating feels right and the wait staff are friendly. Make sure you try it all with shared plates or a platter - the beef ribs are the easily the highlight of the menu, but everything else including the sausages and all the chicken dishes I’ve tried were a hit as well. It’s worth the short drive out of the centre of the city. Slather on some mosquito repellant though if you’re going at night during warm weather.

Highly recommended, highly recommended. Do you love good meat? If youre a great food lover then this is a place you wanna go. They have great juicy chicken, meat, sausages i mean there is nothing i dont love from chefkile. I usually eat alot when i come here, you will feel your belly is full but youll wish to continue eating haha. Keep up the good work ChefKile.

Food here takes forever to arrive and when it arrives it arrives cold. The space isnt all that inviting either. Service needs to be faster if one is to enjoy their food experience and perhaps change the setup of the place which currently feels like a lunch hall in a school .

I give their food three stars on my first visit, and it could rise to four if next time is as good as this was. I enjoyed the normal platter which was generous portion for the price.The environment earns maybe just one star, for now. Tables were somewhat crowded close together and, when rain came, many folks who were seated under trees came in where we already had little room to spare. But they have ample space to add more seating and shelters, so this will be easily improved.I look forward to another visit soon...

Their chicken dishes are absolutely divine, but their Ribs that seem to be so popular were honestly a disappointment,They were delicate and tender and looked delightful but they tasted bland, charred and generally unflavoured and under seasoned, and just tasted like plain beef, Id definitely not recommend for any future visitors or hopefully after this review, they change their recipe

Went to Chef Kile over the weekend. We were a large group of 12 people. Had asked them to arrange a table under a shade. Instead they gave us a table under a iron sheet which technically was a shade but was also an oven! The heat was unbearable!In regard to the food, we were all looking forward to the famous wings, Arusha Choma and sausages but they didn’t have them. It’s funny not to have them when you know it’s going to be a busy day. We all each ordered a different dishes. The Aha chicken was great! Lemon butter garlic chicken was average. Nundu Mishkaki was average too. Now the main dish that has even created the hype about Chef Kile, bbq ribs. They were tender and juicy but did not have any taste. Extremely bland. They need to add a sauce or something to bring out the taste.Would I go back? Maybe once a year

Came for new years with a group of 15. Booked in advance. Arrived on time as per booking. Ordered food and kept waiting for 2 hours but nothing came. Complained to all managers but still nothing came. Eventually food started coming one by one after 2.5 hours and it was cold. Left the place without eating as had kids and they started crying. Witnessed guests coming after us being served. On such days wish the owner could be there to supervise. They accept people without limits and cant serve them

The best feature about ChefKile nowadays its the kids play area. A great place for the kids with activities albeit expensive one. I find their barbecue not to my taste and the chairs too hard for my cushion-loving self. The bbq is too meh for my taste nowadays and the service is slooooowwww. If you dont sit at the hot tables . Its still okay for an easy Sunday

Was disappointed with food esp meat is too much marinated as if its from being boiled they should ask customers first .Also location shown on Google maps is different as that of the real place so people get lostPlss update your location thats so annoying

The wait was...so long. The food, meh..it didnt have flavour to be honest. The meat was super soft, and the chicken was crispy, kudos! However, they were not properly seasoned..and the chicken was oily, they must have fried it first before putting it on the grill. The atmosphere..it felt like going to someones home for a BBQ.. and you dont know anyone there . Not bad, but a bit awkward. Overall, ok..not memorable.

The WORST!!!! Where should I start. The 2 hour long wait for my takeaway? One of the orders was not made after waiting for 2 hours. Was thus given a substitute that Im still searching on the menu because it is, simply put, bland (no taste at all!!!). The waitress didnt know what sauce was used for the chicken wings? (I decided not to ask her about flavours after that) Or the fact they did not pack, for the Wawili Menu (cost 60,000/-), the naan bread, the chips, potato salad, smoked garlic cloves, chefkile salad, pickled cucumbers, and the 2 grilled fish fillets were crumbled up leftovers from someone elses plate that didnt even amount to 1 fillet let alone 2. Total spent for this rubbish? 100k.Not only am I never going back, Im not even going to send business that way. Chef Kile, hope you are reading your reviews. I have mentioned but a few so others can know but all in all, not worth ones time or money.

One of the best bbq spot in Dar . You have to place your orders from monday to friday midday. They serve on weekends for the orders you placed during the weekdays. You can reserve a table (limited space available), or you can specify your order to be take away.
