I have been here couple times and theres always good customer service. Waiters checking up on customers from time to time. The masai outside was so friendly and as much as i liked the food i also enjoyed to be served by wonderful people. Hope to see you soon. Oh plus theres free salad and WiFi.

Tasty food and in the vicinity of the city. They have a variety of food and the menu is broad.Quick in service and friendly staff. Ordered and food was delivered in 15 minutes and warm.I would recommend this to many for those that love spicy to normal.

Me and my Husband came to dine here just last week. We had ordered some seafood (Prawns & Fish) as well as some barbeque style chicken. First of we waited for over 1.5 hour just to get the chicken at our table. The sea food was much delayed than that. The portion for the chicken looked like a cat fed on it half way through with the remains coming to us! While the sea food had worms inside!!! I was totally disappointed. Guys be careful with this restaurant, they are not fit to operate at all! I immediately when to complain about this and they claimed that they had follow quality operations here, which is a total lie, they dont seem to even clean the chicken meat properly before roasting it, leaving a terrible smell on the final product.One of the worst places you will ever eat at, Please be careful and cautious with them, they seem to be having beyond unethical practices and serious health hazards

Ordered Gajjar Chicken with Masala Chips & Naan with specifications in the Chicken... they lived upto my expectations... although i have ordered it a couple of times but today they’ve outdone themselves! Fab stuff! All the best ❤️

GREAT people working at a GREAT outfit. The food is amazing and cheap. There are no words that would describe how good this place is. Came here with my crew and we fell in love. We had a 24 hour layover and were suggested to come here for food. Boy were they right. The menu is ridiculously large but everything was good. We ordered about 10 plates and not one was less then 4 stars out of 5.

Good BBQ| Pizza | IndianHave had the massala Lamb meat with Garlic Naan. Not cheap but yummy. Good staff and chefs are very friendly to have a quick chat. Stone ovens impressive at entry for grilling! HOT!

The place is a little bit worn out and not kept clean especially enter the kitchen is very dirty. A lot of things are kept there and employees eating at the back sitting on the floor etc. Very bad impression. I suggest major renovation on the kitchen and entrance side. However the sitting area and the food is excellent. The service could be improved by allocating the many employees specific tables to take care. Once we ordered and got our food nobody came to us to ask if everything is ok or we want anything else. Many of the employees just watched from far. We could not order any fish or seafood worrying about food poisoning.We have been to mamboz masaki and mwenge. They are the best in dar. See my other review of masaki I gave 5 star. I hope the owner will take these comments positively to attract not only locals but also foreign tourists

I had great experience with Mamboz twice. The first time I ordered spring pilipili chicken, masala fries/chips and hakka vegetarian noodles. All were delicious. The quantity was large, I got three meals out of it and it cost 28500 Tzs.The restuarant was extra nice. It was my second night in Tanzania and I could not order through Jumia Food since I did not have Tanzanian number. I contacted the restuarant through Google and they provided me with a WhatsApp number so I can order. The order was here a few minutes later. I really appreciate this level of service as I had no other option of getting food at that time of night since I didnt have a phone, couldnt get Uber and people told me it was unsafe to walk at night.My second experience was when I visited the restuarant. I ordered Chicken Skela which was 15000 Tzs for four pieces of leg/thigh. I was able to get three meals out of it and chicken was juicy even on the fifth day after reheating.I think it is a good place to eat as quality of food is good and prices are mid range.

Nice place where you can just drop in and enjoy the variety of grilled/bbq dishes, but they also have Indian, Chinese and pizza available! The service is quick and you have an open view of the kitchen staff in action. You can also get a free spin on the wheel and you just might get lucky and win a good/drink item for the table. Food is delicious and not too pricey. Will definitely return.

Went there twice to the location next to BW Peninsula. Food was good and although they write to except to wait 30 min for the food, this was not the case for me.

Great food from the grill, moderately priced. Chicken wings are delicious and quite spicy. Indian dishes are pretty good as well. Food and juices are fresh and all dishes Ive tried have been pretty tasty. Service is good and relatively fast. Staff are quick and friendly. Easy to get takeaway.

Very good spicy BBQ chicken, beef, and goat.

The food is excellent. The owner is stingy in giving stamps for stamp me. He made us feel as if we were begging for stamps. He says if you take any food that is on special deal you shouldnt get stamps but we usually order specials as well as normal priced items so we are supposed to get the stamps!!

Good and unique test of chicken brays

Im naturally not one who loves spicy food but when my order from Mamboz arrived promptly at the hotel I was at (Yes!! They do meal delivery at a reasonable surcharge), it was mouth watering spicy. The chicken was well done packed in foil paper to preserve heat and moisture. The chips were done according to my instructions. Id die for another plateful of that delicacy. My go-to eat out around Dar city center

With a mouth watering menu, and an aroma you cant ignore, every item that Ive tried so far has been lovely! The outdoor is a busy area but they offer indoor sitting too.

Very good food. Mainly Tanzanian and Indian food, but also great grilled food and Pizza and even Poutine (but a very Tanzanian version of it). The menue is scary though, 15 pages of different dishes! Fruit Smoothies and fresh juices are amazing and discovered them way too late. Busy place from 19.30 onwards. Great place to go with Friends.

Amazing food always

Recommend this place for grills/bbq only. Curries and biryanis are not so nice. I suggest to do a Take away instead, this place has too much smoke from grill all over the place with no proper ventilation. People were coughing more than eating :p

Mamboz is quite consistent in its excellent grills and bbq. The food was exactly how I remember it from 4 years back. The lamb chops were falling off the bone at their tenderness. Service is excellent too. I can’t really complain about the smoke because it’s one of those outdoor, ‘sit down order your meat eat places.’ Even at home you can’t expect not to have smoke when you’re barbecuing your meat. There was a bit of a wait time for the food being a busy time but there was salad. Though I would highly recommend they start making a proper kachumbari salad to go with the meat.

I was coming back from the exhibition center where i had spent my day setting our stand and passing by the restaurant, i could not resist the smell of the meat sizling on the grill.. So I went it.. Mainly Indian food and Chinese.. I had no clue what to order, so i ordered by chance, and it was very good.. I really enjoyed it.. Do not remember the name of the dish .. Restaurant is quite busy.. Only negative there is no alcohol served..

Delicious meal for 6 people for $50 and we over ate! The BBQ chicken is amazing and shockingly the Chinese dishes were really good too.

Mamboz SizGrill has an extensive menu featuring Indian, Chinese and barbeque items. Mishkaki mzinga is really tasty whereby, small pieces of bbq meat is mixed with salad and French fries in a bowl along with special sauces. Gajjar chicken is also a popular item although it carries a lot of heat. For the curry fans, chicken tikka masala is also great and goes well with butter naan.
