My friends and I had a great time. The owner and staff ensured we were satisfied! The drinks were amazing! I had a steak, it was juicy. Will definitely visit again.

Lock and Barrel was such a great experience. The service was quick and the food was so delicious. I had the (fall-off-the-bone) Beef Ribs and my sister had the Thai Green Curry and they were both so good, well portioned and well priced. You rarely find a place where both the food and service match up in quality in Dar so this was such a breath of fresh air. Love love love.

Brilliant service! The staff and manager were incredibly helpful.Although there were a few items sold out from the menu cos of high demand everything we tried was top notch.Highly recommend the strawberry daiquiri, mojito, fish cakes and tiramisu.Cant wait to try more.

Pros: The food we had was good. The garden salad was well done and the slow cooked ribs were nice as well. The service was attentive and responsive.Manager checks on customers to find out if they are well served.Cons: i didnt give 5 stars or even 4 stars because of the payment options available at the restaurant. A place like this should have mobile payments set up and an actual card machine that works.Their pay menus mention they take union pay cards but the machine is so old that it cant even read the cards let alone allow them to make payment.In an upscale market where most people prefer to use more convenient forms of payment than cash, this is a terrible disadvantage and the only reason i may not be back to the establishment. I cannot justify lugging around wads of cash to host my friends to a nice dinner.

Good customer service but the food isnt anything special. We had the peri peri chicken (which wasnt spicy imo) and the grilled beef ribs which okay.I think this restaurant might be better for drinks than for food.

Great food, service and price! Just had dinner here with a colleague, and we were very impressed!Had the brisket sliders, lobster shooters, mutton masala, and the lava cake!Will be coming again next time in Tanzania!
