I came here for the first time a few days before my daughter’s 4th birthday. I wanted to order 2 cakes (1 for the next day (her actual birthday) and another for the week for her party. After driving around for hours visiting bakery’s I found this one Google. I tried calling of course no answer so I drove all the way over and arrived at 7:45pm which was 15mins before they closed. I asked the usual questions (price, flavor options, design, pick up time).🤦🏾‍♀️The women already had their purses 👛 on their shoulders. I asked a few questions and the gentleman was just so rude, inpatient and disrespectful. . So I kindly asked if the manger was available and of course the he hits me with, “I am the manager and owner 👋🏾” line. So I asked him why he felt the need to talk to customers with such rudeness and anger. He response was, “Its closing time and we have been here all day”. My response was that your 1st customers is just as valuable as your last customer we are all paying your bills.In summary they had a cake ready already but they refused to put a happy birthday message in icing on it because they said wouldn’t look good. I offered to pick this cake up the next day, then they said I wanted too many icing colors 🙄 they could only do 1 color per cake not 3.Long short I got brought nothing, that day. Because I didnt think it would be fair to leave a review without consuming the product I came back again on another day. Also I wanted to get pictures. The shop is pretty but a their cake designs are very basic and have no artistry or beautification. The prettiest thing they have are the cupcakes. Their sheet cakes look like they were made by toddlers. Flavor wise the cupcakes were not bad. The cake was a little bland and it was not moist and mouthwatering like Soul Treats Bakery. Dots bakery puts all of the fruit flavors into the icing instead of the actual cake. If they infused the cake batter with those fruit essences it would be moist and luscious like Soul Treats Bakery. Also they had piles of dead flies just laying around. Would I come back nope. I do not support business that do not provide good service.Check this review for updates. I will add my pics later....

Absolutely wonderful, the bakers are friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming and nice, the store owner is also open to conversation and is very interactive with his customers, the cakes, brownies and custom order cakes are flavorful, elegant and deliciousAbsolutely one of the most underrated bakeries in DSM

For affordable birthday cakes at a very reasonable price. The one star less is for not storing candles.. 😁

So much advertised compared to what is available, they serve mostly chocolate cakes and cupcakes if youre lucky. Most of everything else is available on pre order a few days before.

They made my wedding cake and it was delicious. They do not have parking so it is a little inconvinient but they are really good at what they do. Cake was delivered to my reception on time and they gave me samples for testing so I could choose what I liked. They also showed my a lot of other cakes they made so I could choose decor I wanted. Very accommodating and professional. One less thing to not worry about on your big day

Ok service but tasty cake, its a shame one of the servers was very brusque and unprofessional. Also they could do well to cover their cakes in the display as they wait to sell them to improve hygiene.

Why have a Sunday menu then not have the stuff. Tried to order Sunday cupcakes, but apparently they didn’t have them even though they were being displayed online. It’s just strange and speaks volumes about how the business is run.

The outside of the cake looked very nice however it was a shame that one of our wedding cake tiers was completely raw & the others didn’t taste that amazing either.The cake was also delivered 2 hours late to our function which caused a huge inconvenience.If you’re coming from abroad & want to order with them we would not recommend this company, you are better off going with home baker, the finish may not be perfect but at least the taste would be good.The sample cupcakes they gave us were no where near what we received.

I’m a cake lover and Dots is not the same as it used to be. I know because I used to be a frequent customer.On my last visit I was not pleased with the cakes. They were lumpy and tasted like magarine. The quality of the cakes was not worth the money. It’s not a cake shop that I would recommend anymore.

The moist cholocolate cake is what you should have, it does not matter if its your birthday or not.For those with sweet tooth like me, Dot is there for u.If you are taking the bus of masaki its before macho and container.
