Used their LC Prado for 5 days, approx 1700km in March 2021 for self-drive.Everything is fine, car is in god for Tanzania condition. Good A/T tyres - it was important for off-road travelling in national parks.Very nice stuff, the delivered car to ferry port exactly on time (it is unusual for Tanzania :) ). On return they helped to find most suitable location for me and then delivered me to airport with no additional fees.Wish good luck and profitable business!Highly recommend this company for car rental in Tanzania!

Rented a self drive toyota harrier. It was a pleasant experience , the owner offers a great service , including delivery to the airport and picking up the car somewhere in Dar.The car was well maintained, communication flawless and the price unbeatable. I rented a Toyota Alphard, IST, and Wish within 2 months, I have to say that the customer service, price and quality that smiles offers is unbeatable. I was able to quickly get in touch with the staff and especially the owner, Aliabbas, whenever I needed anything, it could be a car switch or a driver; they made everything possible. Do not hesitate to use this company for your stay in Dar, i know i wont!

Driving in Dar as with most cities is not for the faint hearted. Luckily I travelled with experienced drivers and was able to get excellent value for a month of just car hire but otherwise Smile Drivers are available at reasonable rates to take the the strain.RAV 4 hired was a little dated but all the better in not subjecting a new car to navigating the pot holes and rough roads around Dar.All in all great service from Smiles and we left Dar sad but Smiling happily.
