I really would recommend Burigi Chato Safaris for excursions in Zanzibar especially when there is a family. They have an amazing guide who is respectful and knows how to handle a family. The company also have an office car which is been driven by the guide himself. We went places and the trip was very flexible.I and my family spent only a couple days in Zanzibar. We had great experiences with the services provided by Burigi Chato Safaris. Our driver-guide who was primarily Ahmad and the managing director Geoff was there to meet us on the first day when we arrived and the last day when we were leaving dropping us off at the international airport.We did an excellent and perfect walking tour for Stone Town, spice tour and lunch at sandbank. These few things made a very good memorable and quality experience in Zanzibar. Looking at other people on tours, I could not help but notice the care and attention taken was poor with zero connection to their guide. Sandra my 6yrs daughter felt free and cheerful in front the guide and asked many questions that were very well answered particularly by Ahmad who is a warm and kind soul. My Zanzibar holidaysWe miss Zanzibar especially the balcony of our hotel this company knows how to choose accommodation for you and strip you of the hustle of you doing it yourself. I remember how long and efforts we used trying to find the perfect accommodation. But after we landed on Burigi Chato website we tried out booking and it was after 24 hours when they got back to us with full package quote that included accommodation we then booked and were able to have a great picnic by the sand in the ocean they call it sand bank it was paradise. We as well had everything well organized for us. We did not engage in any hustle. We were happy to have chosen this company and ask others to choose it as well.

Burigi SafariThere was nothing important that I saw about traveling to Burigi Chato National Park my Tanzanian boyfriend convinced it was new park so I tried it out. I never thought I would have an amazing safari since I once went to Serengeti I was always thinking of the incredible experience of non-ending flats and grassed sun set! BEAUTIFUL ZANZIBAR BEACH HOLIDAYSAs an expat in Tanzania I always wanted a good and cool weekend get away with a good price. I then made contact to Burigi Chato Safaris to plan my weekend get-away to Zanzibar though I had limited time of four days I managed to explore almost the whole Island. My guide Mohammed was always on time and planned everything well as the itinerary desired. Another thing that I really got to enjoy was the see food which at times was served in an island few kilometers from the Zanzibar shores. Tour to KilimanjaroThis mountain have been my dream to climb it for two years. I loved everything about the climb. Our guides and porters were wonderful and knowledgeable plus caring. Climbing is challenging but they made every effort to make us all comfortable and make it to the Summit also known as roof of Africa. The food was amazing I liked the cooked banana porridge they call it ‘mtori’ in Swahili. I have never been so taken away by the mountain like this before! I am here now writing a review because I want to let other hikers know that if they want to book for a Kilimanjaro hike Burigi Chato Safaris is the best company to book your climb with. I liked the way the managing director was steering his entire team to perfectly deliver our experience.

My safari to Beach in Zanzibar with We were contented with the tour. Thus why we booked for the other tour the guide seemed was very knowledgeable. After the Stone Town tour, we booked for the spice tour which was accompanied with Swahili lunch. The Swahili lunch was very delicious and enough to fill our stomachs. We then booked a trip to Mnemba atoll. It was a long 1.5 hours ride to the boat. Once we got there, they kept us on a ocaptained boat. The captain very experienced and educated us a lot about the sea. He was very helpful and gave us the snorkeling gears which we used to see the incredible marine life. This company is great and very friendly.

AMAZING KAGERA REGIONS NEW PARKBurigi Chato National Park is a new national Park upgraded from being a game reserve in 2019. Every group member traveling with me to the national Park had a weird feeling that it might be bad since it is a new national Park. To our surprise the experience was awesome we previously asked that we get an evening with bonfire not only was that granted to us but some few beers accompanied it as well. It was enjoyable the company’s director (Geoffrey) was very supportive and helped us in terms of our expectations being met. Based on this experience, I will therefore recommend that all travelers to East Africa choose this.

Beautiful ZanzibarI and my wife were well picked up from the airport as promised by the director Geoffrey Ngaiza the driver was very flexible and friendly. I wanted to see stonetown before going to the hotel and I did it! Our driver took us to the most incredible and historic places of the Stone-town we expected to see where the slaves were taken but may be not in this way but it happened. THE TARANGIRE AMAZING TOURI was looking for a company that will bring me to see herds of elephants up and close. Choosing a company was a very hard task but I then could do it after a friend recommended me. During the booking process I was happy to have had all my questions answered. Geoffrey the managing director recommended me to go to Tarangire National Park where there were elephants herds. From airport pick up to the day of my departure all I can say is that my experience was good way over my expectation. As the guide was professional he knew exactly where to go and find the elephants without wasting time.

Amazing Day trip to Marangu villageI couldnt be happier with my experience on the foot of Kilimanjaro than this. It is by far have exceeded my expectations. Geoffrey ensures that you get everything unto the itinerary. The guide and driver were friendly throughout. We went to the water falls where I took a good swim. I helped a local farmer to bureau coffee and prepared my own cup. I was as well taught how to make a chocolate coffee from the same coffee powder. ZanzibarCompare prices first if you want to go Zanzibar and they will tell a cost to about 800usd but with Burigi Chato Safaris you get a much better price we booked for eight days trip to Zanzibar and we were amazed everyone with me was happy. The guide was very friendly, professional and skillful. He took us to see and swim with dolphins at a plan that was not in our itinerary but was a surprise de-tour since dolphins are not confiscated in a cage like a zoo. It was only later on that he revealed this because finding dolphins in Mnemba is a very rare. In general we enjoyed our experience and the company truly helped us to come up with a nice enjoyable itinerary.

Many animals in one African Safari thanks to Burigi Chato SafarisJust in three days we saw many animals and had the the camping bush experience I booked the three days package for Serengeti and Ngorongoro I then was picked from the airport by the companies managing director himself Mr. Geoffrey then I went to check in the hotel. On this day that I arrived in Tanzania there was a system problem with migration we had to wait for two hours at the airport at some point I was worried that I am going to not find my pick up transfer. But, they waited meaning the driver of the company and the Managing director they waited for more than two hours I was amazed when I saw my name on the board. Though it was night they tried to find a place I can eat before checking in my hotel. In the next morning the safari car was at my hotel at 7:30 am sharp I boarded in as it was a joining safari I met other 5 solo travelers. Everything went as instructed in the itinerary. I will recommend this company if anyone wants to travel in Tanzania.

Day trip to MaranguMarangu was an amazing experience to see where the Chaggas had to hide from the Maasai during the war they had was adventurous. This was an amazing experience for me and I had the best experience I can never regret going with Burigi Chato Safaris but only recommend it to other travelers. They picked me up from the hotel at the exact time they said they would. They then took me to the village. On the way I enjoyed friendly talks with the driver too...

THE ADVANTURE OF BURIGI NATIONAL PARKThough the national park has recently being opened according to my guide. I was surprised to have seen the dense population of animals there. Either, this park does not require long game drives to see the animals. Burigi Chato Safaris is a very organized company with fair price. I really liked the way the guide was friendly and yet professional he had all the details and because of his experience the driving was very good since many roads in Tanzania are quite narrow in comparison to my home country he managed to save time and drive us safely. The tents were clean and the food very delicious. I recommend this company to other travelers.

ROOF OF AFRICA WITH BURIGI CHATO SAFARISI rented a sleeping bag which is one of the things the company offers. It was a four season bag I was warm all the time as if I was not in the mountain. I missed a couple of gears for mountain climbing but the company offered me as part of their service since they have a big store from which trekkers can rent mountain gear. I’d recommend renting these equipment for two reasons one is that you save space in your bag on the flight to Kilimanjaro or any transport you use to go to Kilimanjaro. Also, to save costs as renting tends to be cheaper than the actual price of the gear. I only had trouble with a pillow so be careful to make sure the kind and standard you need before starting your trek.I felt mountain sickness but due to the good guide I had who as well have had a professional crash course to deal with these kinds of situations he was able to help me and I ended up summiting the Mountain which is the tallest free standing in the world

Great day trip to Materuni waterfall and villageI wanted to explore more of the local areas and Materuni water falls was it for me. Around Moshi I can recommend this company which have professional local guides, from I visited the Materuni waterfalls. Geoffrey organized the whole visit and was my guide for the day. The Materuni village is in a beautiful, hilly area. It almost feels like a resort, with lush green and houses looking like villas but they are not. The waterfalls are a short hike down from the road. Its a pretty high waterfall and quite beautiful. The water is warm enough to swim in, do not forget to bring swim suits. After the waterfalls, we visited a family owned coffee farm, which was a blast. I got to see and participate in the whole process of making coffee. I even tasted home-made banana beer, which is quite popular in Tanzanian tribe named Chaggas tribe who are dwellers of the foot of Kilimanjaro.

MY TARANGIRE / MANYARA SAFARIWhen I booked for an African Safari I was worried the company would not be professional delivering a good service to me. But Burigi Chato Safaris offers the best experience with no fussing involved. The Safari to Manyara and Tarangire went smoothly I was lucky to have found such a company. The staff (from guide to the Managing Director) were friendly and approachable. I hope to come back again to Tanzania and Climb Kilimanjaro.

Mwanza City (Rock City)Being a volunteer in Mwanza is not easy since you have to take all these busses and find your weekend get-away not accommodative to people at the office. At points you might need that get-way from work and people involve in it! I saw day trips offered by Burigi Chato Safaris and I never regret opting for them! The incredible burigi chato national park this have animls that you can spots on the game drive they are far close than in the other national park invested in tanzania .i encounted losts of the time spending when in other parks than in burigi national park looking for animals though was not terribly bad but it consum time during the drive after entering the park

THE TRIP TO CHEMKA HOT SPRINGI went here as a detour from the airport to my hotel.Geoffrey advised that I do so since I had a morning plane and therefore the issue with me was that I never knew how or where to spend my day and thus when I was advised to visit the hot spring ( Chemka) .The hot springs are beautiful and the water is pretty good for a swim quite warm because then the Temperature goes down .The place is refreshing and relaxing with winds and chilly temperature because of the trees.it is far though from the main road and thuswhy you need smooth driving responsible drive like the one I got from BURIGI CHATO SAFARIS.There is Tarzan rope you can swim with and get to the water It is place where you can have fun and there is a tree thats easily climbable where you can have a nice jump or just relax..Lunch and beer can be serverd at the premise but mine was brought by my driver.This company is really good I recommended you to travel with BURIGI CHATO SAFARIS whenever you are in TANZANIA..

Mwanza the sunset was awesome at dancing stones we sawa the entire mwanza from those rock the city looks good and there was breathe taking moment when we saw the lake from above thanks to burigi chato safaris i saw this this was incrudble and i had my girlfriend with she would have blessed me for such a moment i had .The rock were almost lion kings the day after i wanted a swim and geoffrey took me to tunza beach .Geoffrey is a passionate manging director of this company -burigi chato safaris

But maybe I was not that much Lucy as burigi chato was the one that gave me the idea that climbing the kilimanjaro during the full moon make more sense. During my trek I was a butterfly free in mountain I never knew before because I was made to feel comfortable. The meals were not quite existing but very exiting anytime I could not wait eat I was likewalk!there is cool food waiting for you.... in general all I can say is that burigi chato safari is an amazing company with a friendly staff and professional people

Incredible safari .I have always wanted to do serengeti since I was kid. The movie lion king inspired me . As I was booking my ticket Tanzania where serengeti is I saw an island named zanzibar I as well hooked it up on social media and entire internet I was excited to know that after safari i can relax by the beach with clear water with no perms or any stones. I then found borigi chato safaris which pledged to help me .the chat I had with them was very detailed answering every bit and inch of my question .I was very informed even before agreeing to book with them (then eventually It was the reason to why I wanted to book with them) they answered all my questions I got in the safari car and everything was well planned from the lunch box during the exit day from town to the park to the last day when the managing director GEOFFREY met us after our safari
