Very wonderful waiter all day...introduced us to vanilla milkshakes...great dessert as they dont have any on menu as yet. Though menu was limited believe it will be changed in coming weeks.All staff friendly and welcoming ... were given special treatment...Excellent views of lake Victoria. Huge boulders add atmosphere not in other places, at night they are lit up with lovely colours.Only drawback were friendly mosquitos at night.

Nice place for camping 🏕 out of the city at the shore of lake Victoria. You will get amazing view quite place to relax. Consider the place while you are in Mwanza you wont regret

Fantastic peaceful getaway. Our room was beautiful over looking the lake. Staff were amazingly attentive and were very welcoming. The garden and pool area are beautifully maintained. Food was very tasty- I recommend the fish! Will definetly return.

This is a new place just outside of Mwanza on the lake, the staff is absolutely lovey, I have never experience quality service like this in Tanzania. Food was very good, we did wait a while for it but it was worth the wait. The manger was very present and he made sure that all the guests were happy. We spent a night here, the rooms are very cozy with lovely traditional artwork. The lawns by the pool has a relaxing feeling. it is very clean and the atmosphere is great.

What an amazing experience very nice place with eye relaxation lake View along the hill side. The food sarved with sauce taste amazingly was extraordinary , A service was amazing, A lovely lady server me she was attentive and engaging. The Gentlemen who welcomed me at the restaurant He suggest I should take this drink and beef, The manager is very frendly he come to my table friendly asking my review on food and service completely he is best Manager. The drinks and food make the best Chemistry it was yummy 😋. I recomend when you go taste this beef gentleman Choice you will never forget.

Wonderful resort in Mwanza region, close to Busisi ferry. We spend our night in the classic chalet in awaiting or safari, while through Busisi ferry a shortcut to the western Serengeti gate is available. The chalet was comfortable and luxureous. Beautiful rest area arround the pool. Amazing food for breakfast (included), lunch and dinner and a variety of drinks. The hosts are very considerate and helpful. Must visit for a overnight stay or chill when in the neighbourhood!

Worst Christmas of my life! No food!!!! Family owned where all the fingers are in a pie so its chaos. Be ready to be cramped into a 3 x 5 prefab hothouse where your knees scrape on the rough stacco when your are using the toilet. Pressure pumps screetching throughout the night invading your already suffucating sleep. No toiletries @ the ridiculous rate of $125 p/p. No bottled water or coffee/tea in the room. A six year old family member is in charge of operations and be ready to get sworn at by her granny if you ask that she calms down! This place should not be open to public! The so called manageres is also a rude self opinionated skimpy dresser who expects men to look down at the ground and not at her. It is clean and the barman friendly. Otherwise stay away! Very small site with nothing to do apart from a small swimming pool.

Our family and close friends are regular visitors to Rocky Bay and enjoy bringing our kids here for the safe environment, beautiful green surroundings, fishing, swimming and company!A Great place for a weekend getaway, small functions or to spend a Sunday afternoon with an amazing view of Lake Victoria, a cocktail and a good book.Bungallows are very neat, with dubble bed, toilet, shower, fan/aircon.Small intimate Resort with Good Food (Menu), Even better cocktails and Friendly staff!Id advise parents with kids:to bring extra games like bats and balls to keep the kids busy after swimming.And mosquito repellent (but only cause its near the lake - and its Tanzania (Malaria)4/5 for Rocky Bay ... I hear theres talk about a mini Spa opening in the near future - will definitely be back to add my 5th star then!Rocky Bay - a place worth visiting!

A real hidden gem only an hour outside of Mwanza. Great people who run it and is a real oasis. Wonderful food and a super comfy room.Will come again soon.
